Ok, she has acted in more films than I realized...but she is still married to a gay scientologist. And yes, she advocated against the use of pychiatric drugs because she is indeed very much a scientologist as is John Travolta. In fact , it is widely rumored (and pretty much taken as fact) that their son actually suffered from autism, and not Kawasaki syndrome as they said. They did not want to admit that it was autism because their religion (cult actually) is against any form of phyciatry and pshyciatric drugs so their son went witho out any of the medications that may have helped him. Also, I have read that in scientology, having something like autism is looked down upon, because that means they have thetans (extraterestial beings) that they have not overcome. It is looked at as they are weeker beings because scientology "can heal and overcome anything" (according to them). So they would NOT admit that is what he had. Every autism group was very dissapointed that they would not come out as advocates for autism and admit that is what he had.
