We must have a different type of water wings..we slide them on, and then blow them up. They aren't going anywhere. We also don't use them as a life saver, but as a swim aid. My kids started swimming young. The time my infant son went upside down, a life jacket wouldn't have helped..the stupid seat caught, turned over and stayed. It would have done it no matter what. We never used it again, and he did go in a life jacket until he was a good swimmer (we startee lessons at age 2), and then graduated to water wings, as just a little extra help, in case he got tired.
I think we're talking about the same kind, but most people blow them up and then put them on (so I guess they would fit more loosely than the way you do it). All the kid has to do to get them off is jump in with their hands up in the air.
I have no idea which one really wanted the divorce, and I have no idea if Kate was the yeller and so Jon wanted out, or if Kate was the yeller because Jon was, well out of it. I don't think it matters. And no matter which 'team' you are on (it's always been obvious to me, for instance which one you were on, and I'm sure it's vice versa, for this section of the thread, anyway..I used to be on Jon's side until I watched reruns and paid more attention), this is a shame. The ending of a marriage is always a shame. I personally think, if it be because she gets better PR or whatever, that Kate is acting more adult at this time. In any case, I really enjoyed the tent show and I can't wait to see how it goes with Jon.
