I think Kate's on The Today Show tomorrow or Thursday? Not sure which, though.

My guide says Thursday and it says Jon AND Kate.

I don't know why I thought that about him and Jenny, I just always did. And I never really thought there was anything going on between them, exactly, I just sensed an attraction there. Mostly on her part. Perhaps it was the way she dressed (short shorts, revealing tops).

You know he noticed, being a guy and all. And yes, he does seem to like the younger ladies, doesn't he? Seems like I recall him going to the gym a lot about the time that Jenny was around, too. Coincidence?

I wonder if TLC has to approve the questions first. Otherwise, I can see Matt Lauer asking "What's UP", but then again, Matt is no Saint either, so he may leave the questions up to Meredith, who is a wash-over and never asks anyone anything controversial. I can see her giving Kate a kleenix and a hug. I hope they steer clear of her book. Maybe Jimmy Kemmel can get them on his show. He has a way that redeems people. Jon should give him an interview.

If anyone else sees this episode, please post DETAILS. I will miss it and I don't have Tivo or anything like that. I'd love to know if the issues are addressed, though we know deep down they most likely won't.

Most of my parent friends are older than I am (aka parents of DS's friends) by 5-10 years. Not that it's the same situation but just putting that out there. My friends from college are 3+ years older. I always made friends with older people. Although, I've been listening to Frank Sinatra since I was 12, though. I loved Billie Holiday when everyone else my age was into Britney. I was a 6th grader who loved to stop in antique shops. I'm an old soul, I suppose.

Are you being paid by Kate? Im just wondering,because every time somebody says something bad about them you really go to great lengths to defend them? Just what to know?

I'm just kidding with you, (my 12 year old also likes to come antiquing with us!) but really you sound like you are reluctant to believe this is not innocent. I do think it is a sad situation, and it's even worse that is being played out on tv and in the media. Like others have said, it's really not fair to the kids.

Okay, so maybe I am grasping at straws.
Do I condone what he has done? Nope. If he is going to the bar at 2am he better have a heck of a lot of male buddies with him and his wife in tow.
I just would really like to see a married couple in the spot light actually make it.

Ya'll may think I'm crazy, and I've never seen anyone else post on this anywhere, but I always wondered about Jenny, the helper who went with the Gosselins on all of their trips and helped dress and feed the children.

I know she was really young, but something always struck me as odd with her. It was almost like I could see an attraction there with her and Jon. Maybe I just imagined I saw it, but I certainly thought I did. Then she just kind of disappeared. It made me curious as to how Kate felt about her and if she maybe noticed anything, also.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this, as well.

I kind of felt he noticed Jenny but I don't think it means anything. How could he not with those daisy duke shorts on!

I don't think there was ever anything between Jon and Jenny. Last year, when I first started following Jon and Kate, there were a LOT of comments about Jon's Facebook page. It was full of college-aged girls. The Sheeple always defended it, saying that they were all fans. I'm sure they were. but I thought it was weird. Apparently, Jon was a pretty active participant on Facebook then, as well as other message boards. Of course, a year later, all that stuff has been removed... but there used to be a lot of chatter about it. I'm sure it's archived in GWoP older entries.

I loved the segment on Little People married too! I actually cried when the one couple whose husband had to go in for surgery.

Wow, did Jon really have a facebook page with college age girls? Man, grow up for pete's sake!

Cute pictures of your kiddos wearing their helmets. I really need to be better about that, especially after that whole Natasha Richardson tragedy.

I'll be tuning in for sure! Matt Lauer can shoot from the hip so I'm very interested to see what will happen. What time is it on?

Good point, usually when married couples have children, they tend to gravitate toward other couples in the same stage of life. Ditto on the 23 year old too, I highly doubt she's a parent and interacts with J&K and the kids! I certainly wouldn't go out to a bar from 11-2am with a single male friend while DH is out of town either! It is a sad situation, not so much for J&K since they're adults and have made their own decisions. The kids are the ones in the sad position, they had decisions being made for them by 2 parents who (of late at least) seem to esteem themselves above those precious little ones. Geez, it just frosts my cookies to think how selfish they're being. They have 8 healthy beautiful kids. Do you all think they fully realize just how blessed and lucky they are to have them ALL healthy? There are soooo many preemies and multiples with serious health problems. Look at the the Table for 12 fam, they have the one little girl with CP and it's so sad.

If I were Kate I would be absolutely livid with Jon, friend or no friend. I would be upset with my husband if he were at a bar at 2 in the morning, let alone at 2 in the morning with a friend that is female....and I am not the jealous type at all.

Jon and Kate chose this lifestyle and part of the lifestyle is being subject to public scrutiny. So that means they do have to live life different than most and should as a responsibility to those kids. How do you protect the kids (Cara & Mady) from reading the headlines in the gossip mags? That is the part that gets to me the most.

Just checked the B&N website. She is at the store in Tribeca today. Crap! I used to work right down the block and would have snuck down for some spying. I lurk on this thread and you guys make me laugh!!

And I agree with most of the posters. No matter how much of a shrew Kate may be, it does not give permission for Jon to galavant around in the middle of the night with a 23 yo when his wife is out of town.

Yup, last year the Duggars were on for Mother's Day and that's when JimBob and Michelle decided to tell their kids they were pregnant with #18!!! How that woman's uterus is still attached to her insides, I'll never understand! But that's a whole different thread...

I'll bet that's why Kate will be on, for a Mother's Day segment. What will be interesting is the content. I can't imagine what she's going to talk about since it seems she's hardly ever at home and I'm sure will be in quite a pissy mood given Jon's recent scandal!

No, I have no idea what Jon is doing. I just pointed out in response to another poster that, in general, it isn't all that odd to have friends of different ages. I do have grown-up nights out with my older friends, and I'm a single 20-something. While Jon's situation may or may not be legit, I was responding to the generalization. I actually haven't really made any comments on his guilt or innocence regarding the recent scandal.
