Okay, so maybe I am grasping at straws.
Do I condone what he has done? Nope. If he is going to the bar at 2am he better have a heck of a lot of male buddies with him and his wife in tow.
I just would really like to see a married couple in the spot light actually make it.

Gee the last tme I recall such a public gottcha moment was Lady Di and her Prince Charming. We all know how tragic that fairy tale ended..

I'll bet that's why Kate will be on, for a Mother's Day segment. What will be interesting is the content. I can't imagine what she's going to talk about since it seems she's hardly ever at home and I'm sure will be in quite a pissy mood given Jon's recent scandal!

Gosh can you you picture in your mind the green room rehersal? The guidlines on a Christmas list length paper to the staff of stay away from topics. It will be all about Kate and likely she will say, The priblem of living in the public eyes, end of comment type of no comment...

Wow, TLC needs you as creative director for their shows! Merging J&K with the Duggars, pure genius! I can see it now...Kate giving Michelle beauty tips like how to give yourself a fake bake at home for the best orange glow tan, or how to spike the back of her hair like a porcupine. While sweet Michelle shows Kate how to make tater tot casserole or whatever that huge casserole thing was called! Wow, talk about world colliding! That would be one craaaaaaaazy show!

the last couple of posts were hilarious.

I had another thought about the today show,
we have to remember that not everyone watches J&K8.
My sons and dh watches the Deadliest Catch. My dh just about went nuts, when he found out they were in Epcot last Fall when we were there. They were in Norway and Canada, but when he started telling me who was who, and everything else about them, I looked at him and wondered if he was my dh. I maybe watched that show for a few minutes.

I'm sure nothing is going to be said, they will probably just be promoting their new season. Even though Jon said he didn't want too.

I wonder if TLC has to approve the questions first. Otherwise, I can see Matt Lauer asking "What's UP", but then again, Matt is no Saint either, so he may leave the questions up to Meredith, who is a wash-over and never asks anyone anything controversial. I can see her giving Kate a kleenix and a hug. I hope they steer clear of her book. Maybe Jimmy Kemmel can get them on his show. He has a way that redeems people. Jon should give him an interview.

I wonder if they're scheduled for only Matt & Meredith's part, or if they're coming back with Kathie Lee (who dealt with her own husband's infidelity)?

No, I have no idea what Jon is doing. I just pointed out in response to another poster that, in general, it isn't all that odd to have friends of different ages. I do have grown-up nights out with my older friends, and I'm a single 20-something. While Jon's situation may or may not be legit, I was responding to the generalization. I actually haven't really made any comments on his guilt or innocence regarding the recent scandal.

I know people have friends of all ages. Especially if you have kids. I think it's a much different situation to be friendly with a 23 year old with kids (if you have kids) because you at least are sharing some life experiences. But if you are 32, married, with 8 kids befriending a single 23 year old, that just sends up a red flag to me. When I was 23 single and in college, I sure as heck would not have been wanting to hang around with a married Dad of 8!

One of my parents best couple friends were my grandparents ages. They met through years of antiquing. They were a very sweet couple and almost like a third set of grandparents to us. I don't think there's anything wrong with having friends of different ages, just the context of the friends lifestyle at the time.

In other words, Jon is a rat ******* for hanging out at a bar at 2 am without his wedding ring, without his wife, and some other chick. It's just all very fishy IMO.

After reading these past posts, I have a show idea. Wife swap between the Duggars and the Gosselins. And then throw in Nanny Jo. I'd definitely watch that show!!

Have you ever seen Mermaids? At one part, Cher says "I get pregnant if I hang my clothes next to a man's suit." Definitely came to mind when you wrote that.

My grandmother had seven children. She was very modest and didn't talk about such things, but she did tell me that her youngest came about because my grandfather "hung his pants on the bedpost!"

I like both my grandmother's and Cher's explanations of how they got pregnant. Very creative way of putting things.
