I agree with you also, that they should have arranged the seating different.
I thought Kate looked nice, but I can't say I love the spike thing she does with her hair in the back......

At the shoot at the house, Cara sulked the entire time. People just notice Mady because she is more dramatic about it.

What is it with Kates hair and the spikey thing? I thought maybe it was just the stylist at Reigis and Kelly, but then it was that way in last nights episode too. I don't like it at all.

I'm a Kate fan, but I did laugh at her hair last night. She has it longer in the front, with that spike out the back. She reminded me of a mother hen. You know how in 10 years we make fun of hair do's and you wonder why no one ever said anything? (My own kids just saw a picture of me 20 years ago. I had the big curly wavy hair-like Amy Irving). They couldn't understand how I could stand all that hair.

With last nites show, Kate seemed more relaxed in their sit-down interviews. She let Jon talk more, and I think maybe that was his problem. He was always grumpy cause he could never do the talking. I enjoyed watching Kate when Jon talked, she was doing the smiling, rolling eyes bit.

LOL...isn't that the truth
Luckily I missed the big bangs by a couple of years. I remember our neighbors GF and DS's first babysitter wouldn't leave the house if their bangs didn't stand up at least 3 inches.

I think the McCaugheys always appear on the Dec. issue of Ladies Home Journal. Those septuplets (7!) keep a low profile. They are 11 I think. Time gets away.

I missed last nights episode. As far as Kate's spike, that is her own liking, I believe. In an older episode, they show her at her salon and her hair dresser mentions how Kate has to have her spike.

Wanna feel old? I believe the Dilley clan are 14 or 15!

I know, and can you believe they raised them all on there own. And in a 3 bd house.:scared1: Kate would have just died if she had to do it all by her self.

Haha!! My cousin did the giant bangs! My other cousin (who is now extremely GQ, or so he thinks) had the tail and semi-mullet!! :lmao:

Count me in with those that don't like Kate's hair. I liked it when the front was shorter, but it's her hair and if she likes it then so be it I suppose.

My kids are 14 and 10 and they would have been acting like Mady if they had to pose for pictures all day! :rotfl: The little kids did really well for what I assume was several hours of posing.

Aaden was so cute asking about the lady steaming the clothes. "Is that smoke?" Oh those kids are so precious!

perhaps their parents took to heart the the letter they received from the surviving dionne quintuplets shortly after the mccaughey children's birth cautioning them that "multiple births should not be confused with entertainment, nor should they be an opportunity to sell products":worship:

Oh my - that would be me too!:rolleyes1 Used to use the Aussie "freeze" spray - my bangs were as solid as a brick wall!

I liked last night's episode. I love to see how the kids interact with other adults - so cute. And, I agree - thought the cover shot was gorgeous!

Besides a few cute comments from the kids, I wasn't really into last night's episode. Too much standing still and posing. I was :rotfl2: when Jon was in the makeup chair and one of the little kids said, "Daddy's a girl" :rotfl2:

I think they should get a dog, if they haven't already. The kids seemed to enjoy the one they had at the shoot. Every kid should have a dog. :cutie:

I think the kids need a dog too but only if they don't hit it constantly on the head like they do each other....:)

I liked the "Daddy's a girl" comment!! :rotfl2:

They do not need a dog. They are too busy and active to take give a dog the attention it needs.

absolutly-and esp. a standard poodle as kate mentioned a desire for in a previous show. any dog needs much more consistency than the family could provide with their current lifestyle but a standard poodle is extreemly unsuited to households that are prone to high activity, noise and tension-and breeders knowledgable about them specificaly advise against having them in homes with small children.

they need for the time being to stick with the low maintainance caterpillars on the kitchen table.

I think this video is why people get frustrated with Kate, at least partially. She just won't stop pretending they have issues with money. Why does she feel the need to pretend not to have plenty?

Does Santa not come to their house? I remember it seeming odd last Christmas there was no discussion of Santa bringing the gifts. Only Mom, Dad and fans. She sure didn't refer to him contributing to Christmas morning in this spot! Kate, kate, kate, kate, kate! She does look cute.

They do not believe in Santa
So since they don't believe in Santa for religious reason it must all be about kate kate kate....sure whatever

Interesting about the PennMommy blog. I only read when it was first posted here. That's pretty sick if it's true.

I started watching the video clip of Kate and her holiday tips, and I got restless and stopped watching after a minute. Honestly, this family is starting to bore me. I think I've reached the saturation point.
