It was worth waking up so early to get all the ressies we wanted!

DH and I haven't been to WDW in 15+ years, and this will be DS4's first trip. I'm SO excited. DH thinks I'm nuts with all of the planning, but he'll be thanking me when he eats his steak at Le Cellier.

The CM i got was great she told me some of the hours for that week since they were not up yet, she said that they had just recieved them this morning.

I hate that Fantasmic will ony be twice while we are there, I had to swtich a few days around.

No dinner times were available so I took a Lunch time on our Disney Studios Fantasmic evening. Figure we'd just do a counter service dinner while waiting for the show:thumbsup2 .

California Grill
Teppan Edo
Crystal Palace (Breakfast)
Coral Reef
Ohana (Breakfast)
Boma
LeCellier
Kona (Breakfast)

As you can probably tell by the Ohana/Kona dominance, we're staying at the Poly. So excited, can't wait!!!

I got all my ADR's on the days and times I wanted too! We are going May 2-12. We aren't on the dining plan, so we didn't need ADR's for every day, but here is what I have:

The pirate adventure sounds so cool.

I will bring the kids to the marina at the Grand Floridian and they will sail from 9:30-11:30 on a treasure hunt and act like pirates...no parents allowed. They even get a little lunch. My husband and I will get a chance to roam around the monorail resorts...maybe sit on the beach at the poly...and the kids will have a blast.

Here's the blurb from www.allears.net:

Pirate Adventure - Children wear pirate bandannas and follow clues to search Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon for buried treasure. They sail to many exotic "ports of call" (Resort Marinas) to collect treasure. Children who are potty trained (no pull-ups) and ages 4-12 may attend. Lunch is provided (Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Gummy bears, Krispy Treat and Juice box).

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Available to all guests. Cost is $31.95 (includes tax).
Reservations 90 days in advance at 407-WDW-DINE.

"We did this the last day and it was probably my boys' favorite activity. They get a pirate hat with Mickey ears, available no where else. They load up on a boat with a Jolly Roger flag and go around the lake looking for treasure. I'm not sure exactly what they do because parents don't get to go along. But they come back with a bag full of loot and grinning from ear to ear, saying all kinds of pirate lingo. That's when my boys decided we could just live at the Grand Floridian!" Carie Lackey, 6/03

schmass--

How funny that we're both from Denver and going the same days...what airline are you flying?

This is a BIG crew going the same time. How fun is that? We need a thread "The DIS takes over the World May 2-9" where we can all post our pre-trip plans, then our post-trip stories.

I need to dig out my lime green mickey heads...maybe I'll see some of you around the parks! :flower3:

I called around 10:30am EST. No waiting. Got all my first choices. Times vary from 5:20 pm to 6:15pm.

Here's our list:

May 2 The Garden Grill (arrival day)
May 3 1900 Park Fare
May 4 50's Prime TIme Cafe
May 5 Liberty Tree Tavern
May 6 Tony's Town Square
May 7 Mama Melrose
May 8 Coral Reef

Anyone flying out of BWI the morning of the 2nd?

Hey all! We're going May 2 - 9 as well! :cool1:

Chrismouse - Which day are your kids doing the Pirate Adventure? I just e-mailed our Dreams Unlimited agent today to sign our 4 year old up for Monday.

As for ADRs, I only asked for O'Hana for Tuesday breakfast so far. I hope to settle on a Le Cellier lunch and Crystal Palace dinner (or lunch?!) in the next day or so. I am still researching "date night"! Ugh.

May 2- May 9th as well

Today, I made ADRs for:

Teppen Edo
Cape May Cafe Breakfast
Spoodles
CRT (Lunch)
Le Cellier
Donald's Breakfast/Tusker House

I'll call T-Rex cafe for reservations. It will make DS's day to dine there.

Even got a BBB appt. for DD on a Magic Kingdom day for 8am. Nothing like walking through an empty Main ST.USA.

Looks like the first week of May will be busy this year. Though the last 3 years we've gone at this time the crowds were relatively light with 60 minute waits only for the most popular rides during peak time.

I called around 10:30am EST. No waiting. Got all my first choices. Times vary from 5:20 pm to 6:15pm.

Here's our list:

May 5 Liberty Tree Tavern
May 6 Tony's Town Square
May 7 Mama Melrose
May 8 Coral Reef

Anyone flying out of BWI the morning of the 2nd?

We are flying out of BWI the afternoon of May 2. We are flying Southwest - our flight leaves around 2:30. We originally were scheduled to arrive on Sunday, May 3, but I was able to get $54 tickets on Saturday vs. $119 tickets on Sunday. We decided to go a day earlier to save some money AND get more time in WDW.

We're gonna be there from 5/3-5/11 but I just made all but one of our ADR's this morning. Alas, I still need one for Mother's Day. Anyone have any suggestions?

So far this is what I have:
5/3 Kick off our family vaca with dinner Chef Micky's
5/4 Dinner at CP
5/5 Dinner at Olivia's
5/6 Dinner at Ohana's
5/7 Dinner at Sci-Fi
5/8 Dinner at Teppan Endo
5/9 Dinner at our resort CSR so it's the Maya Grill
5/10 ?

T.

I made my ADR's yesterday. Here is the way it looks.

Cast of Characters for this trip:
* DD #1 - 26 years old
* DD #2 - 24 years old and 7 months pregnant with 3rd child
* DSIL - 28 years old
* DGS - 6 years old
* DGD - 3.5 years old
* DH & Me

Here are our ADR's:
Saturday/May 2 - Flying Fish for just DH and Me (kids aren't arriving until Sunday)
Sunday/May 3 - Chef Mickey's for dinner for the whole gang, followed by Spectromagic and Wishes
Monday/May 4 - Biergarten for everyone, followed by an Illuminations Cruise (I hope!)
Tuesday/May 5 - CRT for Breakfast, Dinner Open (Maybe Beaches and Cream)
Wednesday/May 6 - Spirit of Aloha Luau for my DD's family of 4 - Jiko for oldest DD, DH, and me
Thursday/May 7 - Mickey's Backyard BBQ for the entire party
Friday/May 8 - California Grill for youngest DD and DSIL - Rainforest Cafe at DD for the rest of us
Saturday/May 9 - Raglan Road for just DH and Me (Kids go home that day.)

I can't believe that I got the times I wanted for every ADR. It sure took some time, but was well worth it!
