Joining the May 2-9 "ADR's made" club!

We will be there May 6 - 9th -short trip with 8 people. I called yesterday morning and was able to get everything but the Fantasmic dinner package. They did not have anything at any of the restaurants. I am really bummed because we are going with family that has never been before and they really wanted to see this show. I will keep calling every day. This is what I booked-
May 6 The Plaza (dinner)
May 7th Crystal Palace (lunch)
Sci Fi (dinner) Really hoping that something opens at Mama Melrose or Brown Derby
May 8 Chef Mickeys (breakfast)
Teppan Edu (dinner)
May 9 50's Prime Time (lunch)

I'm staying offsite so can only book 90 days in advance (no plus 10), but I got Biergarten for dinner on the 4th. Yay!

Hi We are staying May 5th til the 19th and made most of our ADR's but last few still need booking as they are not in the 90 days +10. Here they are

7th wanted fantasmic with Mama melrose but fully booked - will keep trying

8th Akershus 12 noon
9th Cape may 8.45am + Crystal Palace 7pm
10th Ohana 8.55am + Planet hollywood 7.30 pm
11th Sci FI 6pm
12th BBB castle package 8.05am for DD3 need to book a character breakfast
14th Coral Reef 7.30.pm
16th Chef Mickey 7.35 pm
18th CRT 2pm

On the 15th Kennedy Space station has a shuttle launch and we were hoping to go visit but we haven't got car hire. Does anyone know of any planned trips we can book?

There is a rental car agency right at the Swan and/or Dolphin. You can pick up a car for the day there. If planning to go for the launch check the Shuttle Launch sticky and plan on leaving very very early in the morning or you'll still be on the road when it's time for the launch. You may have to get tickets in advance to get onto Cape Canaveral. If you can't get tickets there are places besides Cape Canaveral that you can see the launches. DGF used to live in Melbourne, FL and he used to climb up onto his roof to watch them or go to the local beach. I'm not sure about public beach access in Melbourne so as I said check the Launch Sticky. I think it's in the Theme Park Attractions thread.

We'll be there May 2-9, too! We just booked a "last minute" (for us) trip yesterday and I'm on hold for ADRs right now. Had deluxe dining last time but we are staying at club level BWI this time, so downgraded to regular dining pkg. I feel so much less stressed having to book only 1 ADR per day rather than 3! Fingers crossed that I get everything I want...Jiko, Fantasmic Pkg - anywhere will do (LONGSHOT!), Ohana, Cape May Cafe, and Tony's Town Square.

Thought I'd chime in with my ressies too...
Seems like May could be busier than normal from the looks of all the people just on the Dis going... let's hope not TOO BUSY...
Like the spastic control freak that I am, I called at 7am on the dot this past Thursday...No hold time at all, and every one of my requests were available.

5/6- 4pm Crystal Palace
5/7- 4:45 Boma
5/8- 5pm Coral Reef
5/9- 5pm 50's Prime
5/10- 5pm Chef Mickey (Mother's Day w/ the mouse and my hubby and kids.. what could be better?
5/11- 8am Tusker House
5/12- 5pm Garden Grill

I thought it best to keep our meal schedule as it is when we're home... We are early risers, early dinners...and we're not much for fancy fare so I think our selections are gonna be great...Have never been to any of these restaurants, so any opinions would be appreciated!

Now that everythings booked, planned, paid for...I guess I can start packing! It's not too soon...we certainly won't need summer clothes any time soon around here!
