I wouldn't be concerned yet.* Give them a few days.* The only airlines that fly direct from DFW to Orlando are AirTran and American Airlines.* I live right outside of Dallas, but Jamie lives down in south Texas, where Southwest can fly direct.* Unfortunately when the DFW airport opened up years ago, Southwest didn't want to participate, so agreed to stay over at Dallas Lovefield Airport and signed something called the Wright amendment that only allows Southwest to fly direct to states that directly adjoin Texas.* Otherwise they must fly with a layover (usually Houston or New Orleans if you fly to Orlando).* You must also pay for each leg of the trip separately, so Southwest rounds up being more expensive for us to fly than either Airtran or AA (unless we are flying to LA, Ark, Oklahoma, or NM).* Consequently we never fly them.
