I must be living under a rock! I have never heard these rumors about John Travolta before this latest scandal. Not once. Tom Cruise, yes, but not John Travolta. Where the heck have I been?

Me too! I had no idea. I had heard about Cruise but not Travolta. Seeing that photo, yeah, that looks like there is something between them.

There is now details that the dinner receipt he has produced is from late in the evening and wasn't even signed by Travolta. The attorney for the alleged victim is saying that since he is a private pilot he could easily have made it back to New York in time.

I have heard the rumors about both of them, but I've never seen this picture!! Even though I'd heard the rumors and go along with the "where's there's smoke, there's fire", I was still kinda surprised by the picture.

There has to be flight records of when his plane left the airport & touched down. If he has been allegedly groping masseuses for years, he would have not need to hide his actions/whereabouts on this particular day.

It sounds like he is on the down low - not wanting to admit to doing gay actions. Only guys on the down low find another WILLING guy to do stuff with. And they are usually African American.

I wonder if Scientilogy has inadvertently created their own subculture of DL men, beyond Tom Cruise & JT?

So a long story short-and let me preface this with allegedly a friend of a friend was a family member of Debra Winger, and had Winger and Travolta over for dinner. This family members had them both home for dinner while filming Urban Cowboy. It was a well known fact that Travolta was gay, and that 'friends' were brought up during the dinner that Travolta had. Now this goes way back, to the 80's, even before the gossip about him started. So I am not surprised it came out. He was never discreet as other in the biz have been, and must have awful press folks--cause there are many is showbiz that people do not know are gay. It's sad in this day and age that people still feel they have to live like this--and can't be free to be who they are.

Ignore the if the, my tablet got stuck, anyway if I was the beard for some guy I would probably drink heavily too. I always thought the rumors were true, this scandel doesn't help his image. I don't really care if he is gay or not but I feel bad for anyone affected by his behavior because he is afraid to come out.

One article I read identifed the other guy as their nanny and also the person who found Jett after his seizure. Not sure if this was verified, though. The media doesn't use fact checkers anymore

I thought Kelly was always the one who was big on Sci, that she got him in?

But, if ever there was an article that stated how Sci isn't working for someone, it was that article. Maybe all the cracks are showing because Sci kept them from admitting their child was autistic and getting the proper help they needed. When you lose a child over it, what's left?

Oh no, he was into it before "Welcome Back Kotter". He's credited Scientology with his early success...at least in part. The casting couch is rumored to have been beneficial, as well.

I really enjoy his acting, now. He's done some good work since his come-back.

Interesting... because Welcome Back, Kotter started airing in September 1975; and Travolta joined Scientology in... 1975.

Multiple people (is it up to 4 or 5 now?) that have given Travolta massages have accused him of "inappropriate" sexual advances.

I guess I never realized it was a secret he was gay.
