John Hughes, director of Sixteen Candles/The Breakfast Club, passes away.

John Hughes passed away today from a heart attack after a morning walk. He directed The Breakfast Club (one of my favorite "older" movies), Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Sixteen Candles. He also wrote Home Alone.

How sad. He was only 59.

He directed and wrote some of my favorite movies (Ferris Bueller, Sixteen Candles, Pretty In Pink, Christmas Vacation)...even though all those were before my time, part of me will still miss him.

He was the king of movies from those times. I'm obsessed with everything 80's&mainly thanks to him.
