Well crap...a friend and I were seriously considering paying the $185 per ticket to see him in Chicago this summer. Hmmmm...perhaps I should save my $$$?

Anyone else with this same experience?

I also paid to see him about 5 years ago. Very dissapointing. I didn't spend that much though. Boy, his ticket prices have gone up!

He read very few people in the crowd, and mostly talked about himself. The readings he did were not that impressive.

I love this show because he has very specific messages for people. I was really disappointed with Sylvia Browne when she was on the Montel show. Her answers were so vague that it could be for ANYONE. She didn't seem to care about anyone. Almost annoyed.....
John seems down to Earth and very real. If he ever came to Milwaukee, and I would pay to see him-no matter what the cost.

But did someone interview him before the show? Or did he talk to someone next to him and maybe they were planted to gather information?

No, this was a private reading. This was personal information that only a few people in the family would have known.

Okay, my turn.

I saw John Edward in Chicago a few years ago. We got a reading. We did not speak to anyone ahead of time nor did I use a credit card to purchase our tickets. No one knew us or our information or why we were there.

He is the real deal. He had information no one else knew. Very detailed information. It wasn't "fishing". This guy had exact names and details.

I believe he has been given this gift. It's a debate on whether he's extorting it or not.

I haven't had the chance to see John Edward yet, but if anyone lives near MA and has the opportunity to see Maureen Hancock, I promise you'll be amazed. I've seen her a few times, and I brought my husband (who's the biggest skeptic you can imagine) tickets for Christmas after he had just lost his mom. After the things Maureen told him, he said it's undeniable that she has a gift. She picked him right out of the crowd to say that him mom and sister were there. She knew that his sister had died when he was a kid and that his mom just passed in December, both of cancer. She knew that he was the youngest of three boys and that he was a "miracle baby" after several late-term pregancy losses. There was a lot more personal information that she hit on that I won't get into here, but suffice it to say that my skeptic husband was in tears at the end of the night.

We paid $50 a ticket for a two and a half hour session that was limited to only 50 people. Everyone in the room got a reading by the end of the night, and I don't think there was a dry eye in the house!

Wow, that is allot of money. I have only seen John on Larry King and he took allot of phone calls and seemed to get something right in each call. Some calls he stayed on longer with the guest and others he politely said "that is all I am getting right now".

I would LOVE to see Sylvia Brown but I heard she is very very expensive as well to see.

I have seen him twice- but never got a reading. I went with a group of female family members, even though it was expensive we still had a blast. It was worth the money. We had lost my dad the winter before, so my mom walked away with a feeling of peace after hearing him talk.
I have had a private reading from a medium- $40. I made the appt with my cell and gave her first name only. She hit alot of thing correct. Though she did tell me the spirits said I would have another child- that would be 4 kiddos. I am still pushing dh for a vasectomy after that reading!!! LOL

My best friend JUST saw him in SF a few weeks ago for the second time and she actually got a reading this time (was specifically picked out of the crowd...seven people got read during the two hours she was there). He is so for real it's scary! He said and confirmed things for her that absolutely no one...NO ONE...could have ever on earth known. Down to the changing of the name of her two year old son and just really really specific family stuff (really personal stuff too) that she and her husband never even talked about (or spoke a word about) at all while they were there at the show. It makes me choke up thinking of what he said to her and what it did for her.

I asked her if they had her fill in any paperwork or anything and she said no....nothing at all. They purposly didn't talk about anything other than like work and stuff the entire time waiting to (her husband was a nonbeliever so he made that pact w/her). Well by the time JE was done talking with her he had tears streaming down his face (which, if you knew the guy, is so NOT him at all!) and they have now made a believer out of my DH who was the biggest non believer you could ever...ever talk to.

So...believe or not...but he's the real deal!
