Towncrier (John) and his wife, Sue, are such wonderful hosts. They planned a wonderful weekend full of coasters and food for all to join. Unfortunately Luis and I could only make it up for the picnic on Sunday so here are a few pictures from that

Many were in the kitchen helping to get the food prepared. Here we have the back of Marge (Sue’s DM), Fire lady (Karen), John, Karen’s DH (Glen), and EpcotKilterFan’s DM (Janette).

Tuffcookie always makes THE best cookies in the world! I love the shape and the color!

And we had another wonderful dessert topped with Mickey and lime green too!

Marge was such a pleasure to get to meet. And it was so cool that she was all decked out in lime green as well!

These lovely flowers were blooming out front… if you smelled closely the scent did resemble that of grapes!

And apparently the silly ritual worked as we now have a fire!

Now that we have more heat outside (it was rather chilly) the group looks on as Debbie shares a few of her pins.

Soon we all congregate indoors to watch a special video that our own Barry Hom create for us. Here is Lisa, Alisha, Bill, Sue, Debbie, Barb and Lily watching the wonderful creation.

All in all it was a great day. I wish Luis and I could have stayed longer, but with the 2-hour drive ahead of us, we were forced to leave a little early. I look forward to getting together with all these great people again soon

Thanks to everyone who was able to come this year. Sue is already talking about next year. Wow. What a woman.

Nancy and Barry - You were missed. I took a couple of photos with people holding the postcard that you sent me from Sea World Orlando. It was my attempt to include you in an event that was started two years ago from a post by you on the Community Board.

I promise to post some pictures eventually. I'm just trying to recover from a very busy weekend.

Sorry you had car troubles Serena. We almost didn't make it to Cedar Point because our van had been sitting unused for too long and, after two months, the battery had gone dead. Nothing like having to jumpstart a car that's less than a year old. Yikes.

Better luck next time. Perhaps you can arrange to carpool with someone so you don't have so far to drive. I did that when I came to the Indy meet and it was nice not to have to drive all that distance.

Hope you get your car problems resolved soon.
