Been to Hawaii. Stayed in Oahu, Big Island of Hawaii, and Kauai. We loved Oahu and the Big Island. I think the best beach in Oahu is Hanamma Bay. Loved the big Island. Would go back there in a min. The Lava flows are amazing. We are military (retired) so get great rates in Oahu. $150.00 a night, Ocean Front, right on Waikiki. Loved Pearl Harbor. My uncle was an admiral in the Navy and was stationed there. I never met him and don't know a lot about him. I heard he was in the movie they show. I did not know that until I got home. I know this is going to sound horrible, but I had a hard time with all the Japanese that were there to see it. I know the ones that are there now, had nothing to do with it, but that was really hard for me. I know that a lot of people from Japan vacation there. It was a great trip, and will go back someday, but it is so expensive to just get there.
