Your dress is beautiful and your progress is wonderful!

:confused3 Did you post a picture of your dress? I must have missed it. Keep up the good work and I agree with Doreen, don't go too low. Nice engagement picture.

I posted my dress awhile ago - but I also won one - it is just the matter of picking it out....I have to call for an appointment with the bridal store but I am really wearing the original dress.

Thanks for the compliment on my engagement picture! :)

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all of the positive comments! You really make my day - I don't know why but this week is just really a tough week for me! Although, what totally cheered me up was coming home to the new Disney World planning DVD. ::MickeyMo to rescue! :goodvibes

I can't wait for my honeymoon so I can go back to Disney! Bob is going to have some competition if Mickey comes nearby :teeth: . Bob has been great though and has been really treating me well - he knows that I haven't been myself lately.....I've just been thinking a lot about my dad lately, wish he was still around for the wedding but I am hoping that at least one of his sisters comes to my wedding - I still really have to visit them okay, one of them (she is also my godmother). His other sister hasn't had any contact with me; I've sent Christmas cards, etc. to her and I get nothing back - I'm not looking for anything but card in return or at least for her to wish me luck with my wedding, anything! She blamed me for a lot that happened to my Dad - out of all of his kids I am the only one that cared about him at all. Sorry that I am going on so much! :guilty:

Bob got me a pin that I saw online, it's Mickey with hearts (for Valentine's day) he knew how much I loved and didn't want me to go ahead and order it that's the only reason he told me about it  On Valentine's Day he is bringing me to my favorite Italian Restaurant....They know both of us by name there, such a great feeling....They are very sweet there!

This planning video is really good - I couldn't wait for Bob this weekend to view....had to watch it tonight! Well, I am going to enjoy the rest of the DVD have a great night everyone,

Jodi

Hi Jodi,

I'm sorry that you are having a tough week. :grouphug: You know that we care about you and what you are going through, Jodi. Maybe try and do something special for yourself this week. It doesn't have to be something huge. Maybe watch your planning DVD over and over and over. (That's what I plan on doing! :teeth: )

That Mickey pin sounds so cute! ::MickeyMo What a nice thing for Bob to do!

Jodi, I hope your week gets better! Take good care of you, sweetie! :grouphug:

:grouphug: to you! Sorry you are having a rough week! I hope it gets better! :sunny:

:( Jodi, I am sorry you are having problems with your family right now. I hope your aunt puts the past behind her, and is open to you - especially at this special time in your life.

Your Valentine's plan sounds wonderfu! What a lovely restaurant you have there. :) I love the sound of that pin as well! Care to post a link or a picture?

Thanks Tracy,

Today I have taken the day off from work to have a end of the week "Me" day. I do have to make one run to the allergy doctor and then the rest of the day is dedicated to finding out more quotes for the Disney trip and of course watching more of the Disney planning DVD.

Things started to get a little bit better yesterday - I think because I was so busy at work I didn't have the time to even think about the things in life that are really bugging me and then again off to the gym --always seems to help me but I tend to stay away on Mondays and Tuesday because it is just too busy. Last night was still busy but not half as bad as Monday & Tuesday.

Oh my gosh, Jodi! That pin is adorable!! I can see why you want it. Cute, cute!!

Oh dear, I shouldn't have looked at that first link. There are lots of really cute pins there! My dd LOVES Pluto!

I hope you enjoyed your ME trip. Did you find any awesome deals for your WDW trip? I hope so! :)

You have the right idea! A me trip sounds wonderful! :cool1: Have a great Saturday! :cool1:

Hi Jodi!

I'm so happy to hear that you took a day off for some "me" time! How did it go?

That pin is soooo cute! I didn't check out the first link because we are short on money right now and I might find way too many pins that I like. :rolleyes1

Have a great weekend, Jodi! :sunny:

I know the pins are addictive!!! It's so hard when you are at DisneyWorld and you have all of those stands everywhere - you just want to buy everything.

I finally double checked with AAA and they offered me a pretty good deal (FI doesn't think so though). I would be staying at POFQ from October 28th - November 8th in a king bed (waterview), 10 day premium ticket, plus dining and it comes to $2719.40 - One of the quotes that I got from Disney was for all of the same things and came to about $20.00 less the only difference in their package was that the room booked with them was only standard room and standard view.....I thought we got a great deal with AAA.

It went pretty well. I went to the allergy doctor and I found out that I do indeed have esthma, so they put me on some medication that will help me breathe a little bit better. Most of the day was taken up by getting tests done and then going for bloodwork, so they would be able to find out exactly what I am allergic to.

Hi Everyone,

Hope everyone's weekend was great! Mine - was okay I guess not as good as I would have liked but I'll deal with it I guess. FMIL is acting a little strange towards me and DF hasn't really said much to her about it - she was a bit out of line yesterday; I'm still a little upset about that!

But....now to happier thoughts today I made reservations for The Spirit of Aloha at the Polynesian. Has anyone else been to it? Just wanted to see some reviews. I am looking so,oooo, oooo forward to go to DisneyWorld.

DF is getting a little upset at my whole obsession with Disney because everything that he has tried to schedule for a surprise for me I end up ruining it because I will do it before him (totally not knowing that he had even planned to do anything). Then he gave up trying to plan anything for Disney and over the weekend we went to our local DisneyStore and I found this cute little Stitch stuffed animal (I collect Stitch and Mickey :teeth: ) anyhow besides getting that I also bought the Princess Diary well needless to say afterwards he gets mad at me about it and said you just have to spoil every surprise - he had gotten it for me for Valentine's Day :confused3 Who would have known?

Last night we started to sit down and talk about our Disney plans - We started to make a list of the PSing that we would like to do. Uuuhhh....This is just going to kill me - 8 months!!!!

Today - I'm not feeling that great - TOM has come for a visit but I plan on popping in my Disney planning DVD to make things better.

Talk to everyone soon!

Jodi

Awesome! You must be so excited!! I hope some great codes come out for that time frame and the price gets even sweeter! You will be able to purchase more pins then. ;)

Can you tell me more about the dining option? As our kids get bigger and want more and more food, something like that might work for us.

Sorry your FMIL was being so wenchy. Maybe she was suffering from a hot flash?? :confused3

Absolutely - Here is a link to the Disney website that breaks it down a little bit better than I can: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/tickets/packageDetail?id=PackageDetailMYWDiningPkg05Page

You do end up saving quite a bit of money as long as you eat regularly while you are at Disney. Basically, it costs approximately $35 - $40 a day per person. The Disney link above has all of the dining places that accept the dining option. The only park that it will be a little bit hard with is the EPCOT (not as many restaurants are participanting) but a lot of the other restaurants are and it will help us out greatly while we are there.

Signature Tables count as 2 Table Services, so be careful for that! I hope all of this helps....If you have any more specific questions let me know? I think it's an excellent deal :goodvibes :goodvibes

Oh thanks - It's kind of funny....I was thinking the same thing because in the past she's always been nice to me. Oh well, I hope she works through it all before the wedding.
