 I was out of town most of the week on vacation. I'm bummed to hear Beth Karas has left, but I'm with you, Remus ... I hope she writes a couple of books on the trials she's covered. That would be some interesting reading there. ::yes::

I'll try to get caught up on the rest of the thread. :teeth:

Well, welcome back, did you tell us you were going on vacation and I missed it?

I hope you had lots of fun and lots of blue drinks. ;)

=================================================

So is it really important that Travis may not have known he was being taped? I've read quite a few excuses for his behavior on the tape, everything from Jodi fabricated the exchange using a computer program to fake his voice to she was actually in his house when it was taped and she had drugged him to say all those things. And then there's the he's a healthy American male who couldn't resist the sex and the devil made him do it.
Despite the tape, it doesn't seem to have altered the Travis god-like myth perpetuated by so-called Justice seekers. :confused3

Dang guys. Have been gone all day, log on and find us on page two!!

Bumpity bump.

Hope all are having a wonderful sunday!

Watching here a documentary on Susan Smith. Interesting tidbit. The state (in South Carolina) cannot have a psychiatrist/psychologist refute what the defenses mental health witnesses say. Had the JA trial been in SC there would have been no Dr. DeMarte. I am so thankful AZ has different laws. BTW, she could be paroled in Nov 2024. She should never get out.

Very interesting.

I saw that listed and thought about watching it but didn't. I agree with you, she should never be paroled after what she did to those two little boys in the hopes that she might get to be with the guy she wanted. They were basically human sacrifices.

It's not right that the state can't refute what the defense experts claim. Honestly, a lot of them are just hired guns. I think the examples in JA's trail prove that. :crazy2:

Right!! I think if they would have allowed it, she would of gotten death. That's what the DA wanted. She's also a monster.

Thank you! And no, you didn't miss it. :headache: I didn't realize until I came back that I neglected to mention on both threads I frequent regularly that I was going anywhere! :rotfl: Oh well, last Sunday night was insane here, so it doesn't surprise me. :crazy2:

No little blue drinks, unfortunately - lots of iced tea, though! :thumbsup2

I'll bet you're getting excited about WDW! :yay: When do you leave? I'm jealous of you already!

I am starting to tune into Zimmerman, I was also watching Brett Seacatt but I think they handed it over to the jury. Not to sure though.

Any of my fellow Arias trial watchers tuning in for Zimmerman?

Absolutely not! I've wasted too much of my life on this past trial...not to mention that I got so sick of hearing about Trayvon that if I never hear about the case for the rest of my life, I'll be completely fine with that. ( Same goes for every other story that never dies. Also, once the verdict comes in for Jodi, I will be okay never hearing her name ever again as well)

There is a trial about a mob person, Whitey something. He was on the run for 16 years. He is 83 yrs old now. I think they said he murdered 19 people.

Nope, can't do it.

I had to back away. I got SOOOOO invested in the Arias trial......

I still come here though :thumbsup2

We are back from our trip. Why does it take so long for the trip to get here and then fly by so fast? We had a great time. We did Universal and SeaWorld. We had a lot of down time, which was different but nice. Staying onsite at Universal is the way to go if you go there. Like I said, we had fun but I missed Disney. I guess I can start planning next year's trip. I think I enjoy the planning almost as much as the trip.

Vacations go by to darn fast. They require that green stuff.:rotfl: Glad you had a great time! We are going to Vegas in August. Hmmm...should we cross the dam and see if I can find the stuff Jodi threw away? :rotfl2:

I dunno :confused3 but it sure does!! That's what makes work tolerable for most of us!

They DO require the mooolah!
Yes, you should CROSS the dam and see.... ;)
I've been to Vegas a few times, but have never been to the dam. I really want to go sometime.
Dam guide, for your Dam tour.....:rotfl2:

Seriously, someone is willing to pay the cable bill for 5 years so Jodi A. A CONVICTED MURDERER can watch tv.

This is crazy.
