I hope, at some point, someone interviews JA's mother. I would love to know her real feelings on all of this.

I would too. My guess is that she is not surprised by any of this, except maybe by how brutal the killing was.

I thought I read that Jodi only gets 1 hour outside her cell now. I don't understand how she is still able to get messages out to tweet.

I was wondering how she was getting them out too.:confused3

I read that during that one hour she gets to do things like take a shower and use the telephone ... I'm sure her first preference is to use the phone  ...

Juror #8 was the one that had the question about the bad haircut. He really thought the judge would not read it.

Twice right. Good for this jury!

Now, a third time and finally Justice.

Regardless of the outcome of this final phase, I believe there was already justice once the jury found her guilty. Everything beyond this just makes it that much sweeter.

I honestly believe that even if the jury doesn't put her to death, I don't see the judge giving her life with a possibility of parole. Especially now that the jury had determined it was a cruel and aggravated offense. Jodi, IMO, will receive life without parole; which in essence, she will never make it out of jail alive. One way or another, the only way she's coming out of prison is in a body bag.

Ok ... Here's her latest tweet  ... This one was tweeted from her original account ... I guess Donovan is playing games with her twitter accounts now :confused3 ... ...

@Jodiannarias: "God's love is so great that He loves even the proud, the selfish, the arrogant, and the wicked." - Dieter F. Uchtdorf

with this tweet from JA, she sort of reminds me of one of the people that constantly hits you up as you are walking out of the grocery that says something along the lines of "Hey, I ran out of gas and my wallet is at home. Can you spot me ten and I will mail you 10 if you will provide me your address" When you decline they always respond with "God loves you" There is no come back to that and they know it.
I laugh at that tweet now from her but will grow just a little respect maybe for her if she chooses to repeat those words as they insert the needle

Potential future book deals: Who has most inside information that could write the most informative book a yr from now. No doubt Judge Sherry could but probably wont. Of course Juan could and hopefully will. I would guess JW or Nurmi book would be biased. No doubt one of the Alexanders will write an informative book. But I am more interested in JA's background rather than TA. The author I would most like to read would be someone that knew the Arias family from way early on. Some personal JA stories from 6 yrs until she she met TA. The tribulations her parents struggled with JA and her defiant ways. The inside scoop on what created the JA personality. I just cant imagine being a parent and doing all you can do to be a loving and providing and guiding parent and then to have them move out at age 16 and think that a 16 yr old can find her way and conquer the world. Think of all the sleepless nights her parents have had and continue to probably have...especially knowing the evil ways of your child. The parents police interviews indicate they knew from the very beginning their daughter killed in cold blood. Maybe some distant relative or neighbor living next door will write a book. That's the book I would purchase.
It would take a couple of cartridges of ink and a lot of paper but if I thought JA would read this entire forums comments I would take the time and effort and print and mail for her to read at her leisure as she sits in her 7' x 11' cell
And to probably everyone on this sites dismay.....out of just plain curiosity..... I WOULD LOVE TO BECOME A PENPAL OF JA (hey, maybe that's where that word originates, penitentiary pal)

If they don't put her to death and the judge rules LWOP, does that State still have to pay for an appeal?

Just heard that Samantha and Travis' brother (what's his name?!?!) will be giving the impact speech tomorrow. I thought for sure it would be Tanisha, she looks so hard but I have a feeling that she's probably one of the biggest softies. I'm glad that all of the family has made the decision not to let any of their kids come to the trial...at least I don't believe any of them have been there. Tomorrow will be hard.

In short, yes. By law, the defendant is still entitled to counsel, even if the current counsel is permitted to withdraw. The Appellate court would have to provide her with counsel and still pay for court costs as she is now under the states control.

Kim Ross and Patricia Womack are listed as sentencing witnesses for Arias along with Daniel Freeman. Freeman has confirmed he was notified but emailed def. back that he's not against Arias being sentenced to death for killing his friend.

Agree with all of this. ::yes::

I think it's Stephen maybe? I think Samantha was a good choice. She just has a warmer look. I think she's a better speaker too, from what I've seen of both of them. I could never do what they're doing...I'm an emotional blubberer.

Stephen! Yes!! Samantha is a cop, right? I have a feeling that they may be able to control themselves a bit better. I don't cry and it takes quite a bit to make me misty eyed..but they may do that to me tomorrow. Wonder what Jodes attitude will be? An outburst perhaps?

Good point about her being a cop too. There were times I thought Tanisha was going to leap over the railing and wrap her hands around Jodi's neck.

This is going to be something else. When do they get to speak? The penalty phase is going to be longer than the aggravation phase. Has anyone heard how long they expect this phase to last, and at what point Travis' family will speak?

Vinnie said that their statements are the very first thing on the docket. Better to get it done and over with. I hope if Jodi sits there drawing that either the siblings or the judge demand her to look them in the eye.

Ah, good to know. Thank you! I have plans in the morning and I'll be sure to get home in time. Not that it will start on time.

Yeah. I cannot even imagine. Jodi will be stoned faced or she'll be 'crying' and turning away. I hope JS makes her look straight at them.
