From what I understand, the deal was life in prison without parole and Juan is the one that chose to move forward with a trial for 1st degree murder with death penalty option. With her self defense theory (if the jury agrees with it) she could get out in 20 years, 5 of which have already been served.

I must of misunderstood, I thought you meant if Juan would give her another chance to a plea deal.

Aha! Turns out she has written a report about a male abuse victim, but not testified on their behalf. She lied about that when she said she testified!!!

So in 29 years of her being a DV person, she's only written a grand total of ONE report on behalf of a man and has never testified on behalf of one. Now she's saying she was "willing to testify" on the behalf of the individual she wrote the report for, but wasn't asked to do so.

She's backpedaling so hard, her feet must be a blur under that desk!
