I think UR said it best up thread a ways.... She lives and breaths DV and wants to "SAVE" all women from it. It is her life. So she wants to convince everyone else that what she believes is the truth (whether it is or not).

I went to school with that generation and I say respectfully those kinda people, they mean well and the DV belief has a lot to do with state of mind in some cases, this ain't one of them.

I have appts today and Friday sooooo I will miss all the LIVE testimony but I have the DVR all pumped up!!!!

And I made that Friday appt because I thought there was not going to be any Court but then yesterday I heard Vinnie say there will be Court now on FridayS (I guess)!!!

I made my Friday appointment just minutes before the judge said they're going to have Friday court

Just goes to show ya, they're not done with the twists and turns in this trial.

Hello Everyone!

I haven't been around much, friends and family have been visiting.

I don't hate ALV, nor do I think she hates men. I do think she has a certain bias towards men, and that stems from her years as a dv counselor. When she counsels DV abusers, she's the one in control and has a certain amount of power due to her position. She is having difficulty on the stand because she is not in control and has no power.

Her inability to answer JM's questions directly and honestly are hurting the DF and also her reputation. If she was being honest and direct, there would be no need for her to try and confront JM or make any snarky comments. I think her attitude isn't playing well with the jury. An expert should hav no problems answering questions, regardless of who is asking them.

I think it was a big mistake not to interview anyone esle other than JA, but maybe that it was the DT instructed her to do.

I don't think that TA and JA were in an abusive relationship, but they were in a dysfunctional relationship, and at times the dysfunction went both ways. The problem is JA is a sociopath. She murdered TA because she wasn't getting what she believed she was entitled to. TA was (in her mind) the ticket to the life she thought she wanted.

This trial is lasting forever. The DT's case has gone on soooo looonnnggg!

I believe that JA will be found guilty of 1st degree murder. I think that it would only be fitting that the sentensing day be 6/4/2013. At this rate, we will be in June before she is handed her sentense. I do think she deserves the DP, but I would bet that the jury will go with LWOP.

I am from another forum but so glad I found this thread. I'm hooked. The posts are brilliant (no, not " JA fake Einstein" brilliant), truly.

The Evil Snow White clip was great and thanks for posting the trial's live stream link. HLN's pauses (while necessary) are just as bad as the sidebars. I just need ALV off the stand and the pauses drag her testimony out mercilessly.

Can you imagine purchasing a dishwasher yes new in 2009 and they now don't have parts any longer to fix this dishwasher???
Its crazy, Thank goodness we purchased the extended warranty so we were given a full refund of purchase price.
Now I have to go find a new one that is somewhat similar to the Frigidaire appliances I have already.

As a man who used to sell extended warranty's and would constantly get told how "useless they are" on the phone when I tried to sell them. I am very happy to hear yours paid off!

It seems any thing being sold now , you can not get parts for. They woant you to have buy new which is more money in their pockets.

Someone posted a picture of all 3 ladies eating lunch together yesterday. I feel bad that the male member of the team is not joining them. Maybe AL makes it Nurmi feel uncomfortable. I don't hate the DT, just don't like their actions. But I hope they don't make him feel uncomfortable. That would be so wrong.
