Yes, I do! TY.I don't think anyone thinks that JM is intentionally doing anything wrong. And responding on FB would DEFINITELY be bad news. Remember the Casey Anthony trial and Yuri Melich's "Dick Tracy" username...was it on Websleuths that he posted? What a debacle that was.

I remember that. But the case went on. The judge must surely be done with the jury by now. Juan knows what he can and can not do. Juan is well aware of the facebook page and does not do anything with it. Sometimes the news media just runs their faces to much.

Juan would not do anything intentionally to hurt this case. He has been doing this to long. He does not even respond to the facebook page or anything else.

If anything he might get a slap and say don't go near the media. But Juan does not look worried about it. Anything the DT can do to get a mistrial it is coming into play. They don't have much hope in anything at the moment.

UR, I have a question since you know how to locate things. There is word that this woman had a complaint filed against her to the Los Angeles District Attorney for Discrimination against men by the County Domestic Violence Council.

UR isn't the only one that knows how to find things.

The complaint was to the LA District Attorney against the DVC. It was filed by 2 men that claim that the DVC and many of the DV shelters do not cater to men. AL is mentioned briefly.

Listen, I just have to say I don't think the Defense is the sleaze they're made out to be in some forums, they're doing their jobs and they're doing it fairly well, even Nurmi despite the fact I can't stand his droning delivery. A lot of the issues in this case come under rules of evidence and precedent cases and if the Defense doesn't do their job in those areas, there's a damn declaration of mistrial on appeal waiting to happen. No one's really trying for a mistrial.

I'm betting they do. Social media is so pervasive in people's lives now, I don't see how they could NOT address it.

I was just laughing because I recall oh-so-many-years-ago when I saw a commercial for KRAFT and it gave their website, and I thought "CHEESE has a website?" Now I'm shocked when I CAN'T find a website for something. I've stayed up many a night thinking "it MUST be on the Internet!"

I realize that they are doing their job. But the defense has not been on the up and up. Passing notes and anything else. I am sure Juan knows but he is the bigger person than they will be. They also need to watch what they do themselves. We need to see what the judge finds out with the jury. The defense needs to be checked when doing the wrong things as well. But it is all good. I love the conversation with everyone. It will be boring once it is done. We all hope for the same thing in the outcome.

I'm sure both sides are pulling out all the stops. It is what it is. I wish I had more confidence in this judge's rulings, but in the end, that doesn't necessarily matter either. As in...loved Judge Perry, and Casey Anthony walked.

I think I'm at the point where I need to feel a bit less passionate about this, because ANYTHING can happen. It's not over yet. We don't know what the jury is thinking, or what's still to come that could sway jurors away from what they might be thinking at this point.

Before the verdict in the CA trial, I came to terms with the very real possibility that she might not be found guilty of 1st degree murder. The actual verdict was a huge shocker. I know this is a very different case, but the thing that is the same is a jury full of human beings with their own flaws and prejudices and life experiences.

I doubt she can be considered an "only perps are men, only women are victims" advocate after her testimony the last few days since that's not what she said on the stand.

It looks like a complaint filed against that DVC org, not ALV herself so I'm not sure it matters. Reminds me of Maricopa County's Sheriff, didn't he file papers alleging some official wasn't even American, a Kenyan of some sort.

Years ago (decades) when I was a young cop on the road I had a call to a domestic dispute and when the man opened the door his face looked like hamburger meat. Not a scratch on his wife and she still wanted to go at him. That's all the education I needed to know women can be batterers.

Scary to think, but anything is possible ... And with the DT playing the "blame it on Daddy" card, just like Baez did with CA , who knows what the jury will decide ...
