Jodi Arias Trial Part 4, starting with redirect of "expert" Dr Samuels, March 19

I don't understand how the dr. can say without a doubt that the trouble sleeping is from ptsd and not just being in jail? If I was in jail it would give me ptsd.

I know ... I don't think I could sleep in jail either, whether I had PTSD or not ... this doc must really think that everyone is as stupid as he is ...

I did not catch what Juan put up on the screen. What did it say? Was it a note she passed?

For those who have watched other trials, have there been this many sidebars?!? Some days it isn't even worth watching because they spend more time in sidebars. Wish this judge would take control.

Beth Chapman ::shiver:: she is so gross and her husband is so gross. I think she ended up getting a b**b reduction, but I remember flipping through and her b**bs would be up to her chin! :crazy2: No way you'd ever be able to see a necklace. Eww eww eww. Nancy Grace prob wears hers because she was a prosecutor and put many in jail.

Your theory sounds good, and if she shot him last, it would seem like a finality thing. What doesn't make sense is why she would risk stabbing him first? I almost wonder if she somehow drugged him beforehand. Not necessarily real drugs but something like a large dose of benedryhl so that he wouldn't have been all that capable of fighting back (Though I do realize some people experience the opposite effect, but with me, I'm out for at least 10 hours after I take a benedryhl and go into a really foggy (:rotfl2:) state where I can barely function)

To the bolded, I want to know what else is on that camera. Pictures of him dying? Just the sex pictures? Too many questions unanswered!

I still have a difficult time making out the picture. Maybe I'll have to look for the outline picture. Somebody had stated that the picture was originally taken at a different angle or upside down or something? I'm not understanding how she's dragging the body if his shoulder is right by her leg...under the arms?

To the bolded, this is easy, this is a murder of Passion she wanted to kill him intimately, she wanted him to suffer. Gunshot would of been to easy and is her mind TOO GOOD for him. Stabbing him made it all the more satisfying for her and painful for him.

Really Willie? Didn't you just discuss that piece of evidence? Get on with it, we all know the Dr. is toast.

Depends on the trial. I sometimes loved those side bars in Ca trial.

They should play the music to Jeopardy during these sidebars.
:lmao:
Everytime Willie gets a wee bit scared with a question she asks to approach :headache: ... Doesn't she realize this brings greater attention to the question and answer? ... As the saying goes, "Never let them see you sweat" ... Just sayin' ... :)
::yes:: Several times over the weekend, watching DVRd HLN shows, they showed the part where Sammy said "PTSD isn't a get out of jail free card" and then they cut to Willie and her eyes get wide and she looks down and starts writing...would love to see that notation! "Tell Dr Sammy to not testify FOR the prosecution!" LOL
I wonder if Jodi knows that Prepaid Legal verified she was scheduled to go and then Hall was put in her place.
I'm sure they watch HLN shows at night too!
I have trouble falling asleep at a hotel the first few nights, can you imagine jail???
Me too! Ever see Kathy Griffin do one of her concert shows where she talks about her fear of talking back to a cop (like Paris Hilton or whoever) because she's seen the Linda Blair prison movie? Pretty funny...
Amen.
This guy is a whack job. They should have looked around a bit more before hiring him! LOL
I'm guessing they knew he was a sure bet to testify to whatever they wanted.

Oh my used Jodi's anger as part of his evaluation. Wow the jury knows how violent Jodi is.

Then why take the gun?

I got some shocking news for ya, Doc. You shouldn't rely on what Jodi tells you ... she lies. :rolleyes1

She kicked her mother?????

That speaks volumes about this girl........

So glad JM got that in.

I think she shot him first, which is completely different than what I thought when this all started, or even as recently as early last week. I agree about taking the risk of stabbing him first.

Like I said in another post above, this is a crime of passion based on JA's jealousy, she wanted to make Travis suffer and kill him in a satisfying was that inflicted pain on him, to make up for the "pain" she was feeling. The gun was a back-up plan.

I remember in the OJ Simpson case there were quite a few sidebars ... However, they also seemed to start court on time everyday and sometimes court continued after regular court business hours too (i.e. didn't have to end at precisely 4:30PM ) ... So even with the sidebars, at least more testimony seemed to get covered during the day ... Not like in JA's case where it seems like sidebars take up more of the day than testimony does  ... :)
