I heard her friend last night too. It is more likely to him that the Mormon Church did this as a sacrifice because of TA's sins and JA is taking the fall because she feels for her life. Right......

Um...Brian Carr, Jodes' weekly visitor, said on Nancy Grace that he believes there is no way that Jodi could have carried out the crime and that her SECOND STORY is true.

??????

He needs to be put away somewhere too...I think he's a danger to himself. I mean, what if he believes that a red light means "go"?

:lmao:

It's amazing how many people have inserted themselves into this case... by choice too. :scared:

OK, this is what I get for half listening and trying to accomplish things in the house...no more of that! LOL I did hear something about sacrifice but didn't really pay attention until you pointed it out...thank you! I restored the recording and played it back. Oh yeah, Mr Crazy Carr thinks the Mormons came in and killed Travis due to Blood Atonement, and Jodi is taking the fall for the murder because of fear. Uh-huh.

Here's a wikipedia article about Blood Atonement with regard to Mormons.

Perhaps JODI, in her own sick twisted little mind, justified killing Travis as "blood atonement" for rejecting her and going away with another woman. :scratchin

How do you restore a recording? Is this on a DVR? That info could come in handy. TIA

Good morning, everyone! :wave2:

I just started watching Vinnie on the newer, shorter IS :sad2:, and they're showing the coverage about the pages being removed from the journal. Was there evidence the pages had been removed (ie: tear marks in the book)? The journal pages looked like they were from a bound book-type journal, so I was just wondering.

Hopefully I'll get to watch all the coverage today. :headache:

We have FIOS. There's a file "recent deletes" and you can click on the show and restore. They didn't always have that feature. We had TIVO before (which I liked MUCH better...my DH is never going to hear the end of it from me for switching. ::yes:: ) and TIVO had that feature...it does come in very handy.

I think there were tear marks. But also...she held up something she had torn out. ?? If not having any negativity in the journal means she tore it out, why'd she keep it?? If anyone picked up and read her journal, it's still there.

I don't know why they keep giving this whackadoo air time.

And I agree that he needs to be put away!

Regarding jury questions (from Jinga on NG):

The questions allowed (discussed by the judge and the attorneys, ultimately decided by and asked by the judge)...have to be relevant, can't require a hearsay answer, and then either side can ask supplemental questions to the jury's questions.

Regarding recross:

It's up to the judge to allow or not. I can't imagine that she wouldn't, esp in light of new evidence (the injured finger picture, the compilation of clips from the phone sex, altho I think that's not considered NEW evidence...just presented in a different way ALTHO it has it's own evidence number).

I didn't catch all the testimony or anything Nurmi said about the finger picture, but is there independent proof of a time stamp for when it was taken? Wasn't it from her cell phone? And seriously, she took a picture of THAT finger and not the one when Travis kicked her? Or is that against the Laws of Attraction?
First off that is my question how do we know it is her phone? Let alone her finger. And her job would have sent her to a Dr. for liability reasons. So I don't believe that it was done at work.

I was hoping one of the shows would replay that questioning, as he was so quick I did not hear all the questions. She did not highlight it. I caught that much. And if Juan had seen all the journals, he would have known that some of the pages were ripped out.

Good morning everyone.

Interesting reading. According to this, shouldn't have JA been ATONED of her sins as well? After all, each sexual act was consentual and she was participating in the act just as much as TA thus committing adultery right along with him.

Good Morning everyone!

Out of curiosity I went and had a look on the Jodie is innocent website.

Very interesting what these weirdos believe.

One of the first things is that Jodie can't stand Brian Carr, they say she thinks he's an idiot and not to listen to any thing he says. Take that for what its worth.

The other thing that is BS* that TA's roommate went into the bedroom and saw him there dead and all the blood and its his sneaker mark in the blood. But he just walked out and closed the door!!!! WTH???

Also, he went to do laundry but TA's things were in there, so he just didn't bother. Why does this matter? I have no idea.

Crazy people saying crazy things. :crazy2:

One of the scary things about the Internet is having "a front row seat to" crazy.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Jodi doesn't like Brian Carr. She's a user...she's using him in some way, or keeping him nearby to use him when the need arises. He's her puppy...unconditional love and trainable. As far as those crazies on that site...I'm sure they don't like anyone who doesn't say what they believe or want someone to say. (Is that what we are? LMAO!)

??? Dont' even know what to say about the roommate accusations. :confused3

If my son lived with roommates, and they were anything like he is, they could sell their washer after a couple of years in "like new" condition. Not that my kid is a slob or anything  ...just a different perception of how long something will last before the all important and time-consuming washing. I lived in a roommate situation with a couple of adult (post-college) men and another woman...let me tell you, we women, as the men would say, were "obsessed" with cleanliness, and we thought they just lazy slobs.

No offense to men. :flower3:

I'm sure she can't stand him, but I bet he sends her money and supplies her with other things and she can manipulate him in the future if need be

The door was locked, so he couldn't have just walked in and when he was discovered, there was more than one person present. Wasn't it Mimi who called 911? (That said, I saw an interview with the roommate something seemed off)

Also, he went to do laundry but TA's things were in there, so he just didn't bother. Why does this matter? I have no idea.

Maybe to say he was trying to cover up something? Wouldn't you notice the blood on everything?

I read some comments on that site and it seems people were pulling things from their butts. Somebody said Travis was 8 years older than Jodi and she was 13 or 14 when he first started "raping" her. A lot of crap that holds no candle to the truth.

Can somebody clarify for me, this jury is allowed to go home at the end of the day, correct? Casey Anthony's jury was sequestered, right? On HLN last night, somebody stated that pathological liars live their lies as the truth and that's why so many people believe them. Due to that, CA was found innocent because of lack of evidence. Now, this jury is told not to read or watch or talk about the trial, but really, would anybody know if they did? I'm just hoping for a fair verdict this time around even though it's so simliar to CA trial.

There's a lot more forensic evidence in this case, plus the fact that Jodi has confessed. Personally, I don't understand how any juror can completely not be exposed to anything about the case. How do they go to the supermarket and avoid a big magazine or newspaper headline at the checkout? How do you watch any TV show and not have a news show preview of what happened at the Jodi Arias trial? I mean, this is all happening where they live, so it's probably THE BIG NEWS OF EACH DAY there.

I totally agree with you.

How many of y'all think this jury should have been sequestered?

I definitely do. I don't think there's any way they haven't been exposed to something, or talked about it to someone, even just a family member. I mean really, if you had, would YOU admit it? (you being general "you")

Probably just to family members. I would need a stiff drink each day!
