Oh wow, Mare, all good points. Yes, I see why its probably better no one is sequestered until the deliberations.
Does anyone remember if the jury in the OJ Simpson case was sequestered? Because that is someone that absolutely got AWAY WITH MURDER.

I agree with this. Not only that, but I think I remember from the CA trial commentators saying that juries who are sequestered have a way of bonding (or hating each other?) which can affect the outcome of the trial. I think to some extent that's what happened with the CA jury...the leader types and the non-leader types were established during the course of the trial during the time they were spending together, and I think when the time came, those you voted "guilty" in the first round of voting were too easily willing to look up to the others as having the "correct" verdict or interpretation of how they needed to vote. I think there are studies about issues with being sequestered.As long as he wants, unfortunately.

I think that it's Nurmi's (extremely obnoxious) way of representing himself as being like the jury, and having Jodi expound on whatever, so that the jury "gets it", like he does. Or so he thinks.
