Discount error?

We recently bought DVC resale points at AKL. I had read for owning only resale points we wouldn't receive dining discounts. We went to Disneyland CA this past week and everywhere kept giving us a 10% discount on gift store purchases and dining. Should we have been receiving that discount? I first noticed it when we did a mobile food order, and it was automatically added to that, and it was added to all our gift store mobile checkout orders.

We go to WDW in November and I'm wondering if that discount will transfer to that trip also or if it was some weird glitch for DL CA only? Has anyone experienced this?

WDW doesn't do discounts on quick service, so you won't get any discount on mobile food order. You will probably get the DVC discount on mobile merchandise purchases. I get the DVC merchandise discount on mobile purchases at WDW when I shouldn't (I'm an associate member and associate members are not directly entitled to any discounts).

It may be a glitch, but yes, anytime you use mobile checkout, you will get the discount (if available). I hope Disney doesn't fix this lol.
