I am not getting the live feed. So if someone knows the out come of stupid question for a mistrial, could you let me know. I may run over the computer today.:lmao:

:lmao:

The judge sez she'll take the motion under advisement and see both counsels Jan 28.

I'll be on the lookout for a youtube of today's proceedings and post it here for ya when I get it.

wow, no court until January 29th? What in the world? How are these jurors to be trusted with this case, not being sequestered and for allowing so much time to pass between hearing all this testimony? This is crazy.

Yeah, I'd hate to be a juror entrusted with not hearing anything about this case given that these jurors live in Mesa, heck, they wouldn't even be able to have their TVs on a local station for chance of hearing a newsbreak or stay tuned for the latest in the Jodi Arias case.

Here's what was on their news last night: Jodi Arias trial jurors appear annoyed on Day 8

And how dare they cut me off they knew I was watching...

It won't be dismissed. Cant recall how many of these went down in Casey's trial. I am sure we could find out more on own during this time.

I was getting cut off quite a few times yesterday on the ABC feed so I brought up the azcentral site this morning, ready to roll. And sure enough, it came in handy when the press secretary was on ABC's feed. :rotfl:

They are getting fed up with hearing one lie after another. She is done in .

ridiculous. As if jury duty doesn't stink enough already. Now they have a week off to do what? Are they going to go back to work for a week and trust that other people won't talk to them about the trial? Like you said, they won't even be able to watch their nightly news without hearing about it.

I saw a story on the news a few nights ago about people who skip out on jury duty and now our county has started fining them for it. $100 and up. Seeing this trial....I can totally see why people skip out on it or lie to get out of it. They really need to make it a little easier on people.

Yeah, I wonder of those jurors excused from work for jury duty will be required to be back at work tomorrow or next week, I would think so. And hell, I'd be biting my tongue if one of my co-workers was on that jury.

I live in a county where the judge is well known for jailing anyone who attempts to skip jury duty, small county, everyone knows you don't mess with this judge.

If anyone talks it usually gets leaked out. I don't know if they can go back to work, that may make it more difficult. People would be trying to get you to talk. They need to stay away from everything. For some it could be no problem, others it may not be.

This case makes we want to gauge my eyes out! Convict her and be done. I find it offensive that they're going to be using the Battered Woman Syndrome. I know two women in that situation and its not what we see here with Jodi.

I can't watch for awhile.

You won't have to, court is done till Jan 28th :sad2:

State rests and jury not to reconvene til Jan 29! :scared1:

I just got back home and saw this. What the heck?!

I hope that this will not happen. If she gets away with this it will be another C.A. trial.

It seems to me the judge is wasting allot of money on this trial. I know the state rested today, and the defense went for another mistrial, but that is to be expected. I guess we now wait what 13 days? :sad2:

I'm gonna take a wild guess that yesterday (when they were in chambers) the defense asked for this "recess" til they could take a look at some evidence they claim the state witheld (remember that argument?) and in the meantime the judge still has other cases she's ruling on and Martinez has other cases he's working on. This case resumes on the 28th for an evidenciary hearing and hopefully a ruling on today's motion... so far unless there's more changes.

It was really hard to hear the argument. I don't think it will be a mistrial. So much garbage.....

It certainly was confusing, sometimes I thought they were asking for a reduction in charges rather than a mistrial. It may be that the defense is trying to get that death penalty off the table.

I am so afraid she is going to get off. This jury makes me nervous.

My thoughts exactly. If she gets off scott-free, there is something seriously wrong with the American judicial system. -_-
