Jodi Arias Murder Trial

Who was the blonde lady on the stand? It could have terrible outcome if they keep the jury hanging on like this. I need to find more of state evidence on this trial to really put things in perspective.

Are you talking about the State's last witness Leslie Udy? She's a friend of Jodi's and also Travis.

From Jodi's MySpace:

Well, she sure looked shocked at the questions the detective asked her.

You mean the prosecutor? And I'm sure she was shocked when he showed her the pic that Travis had taken and asked something to the effect do you know this Jodi?

And if you meant Leslie when you say she.

Boy , am I babbling... Yes when the prosecutor asked Leslie if she knew Jodie had a life like this. I am assuming she showed her the nude photo's

I just wanted to stop in and say thanks for giving me ANOTHER thread and case to be addicted to catching up on and watching. :surfweb: No, I don't need sleep. :rotfl2:

Ok I finally read through the posts, googled some of the cases, and drank more caffeine. :rotfl2:

I think that could be used as part of her defense coz her claim now is she killed him because he was a sex predator and abusive.

Instead of Casey Anthony, her defense reminds me more of Mary Winkler, who killed her preacher husband in TN. She claimed he was abusive and deviant and managed to get very little punishment. The use of it combined with his religion just sounds like her attorney hopes for the same outcome.

State rests and jury not to reconvene til Jan 29! :scared1:

Oh, goody. I can read more before they start again.

UR, It's been a while. I recently started posting here again. :wave2: I didn't realize I was quoting you on both of these. I thought you were just on one of them until I really paid attention. I hope you things are going well, and tell your wife I hope she feels better soon.

:wave2: GOOD MORNING, DISer's.

Oh wow, I have been watching this case every day on In Session. Just happened to notice this thread here on the DIS.

So I have a question. Her hair. After she killed Travis and went back home to her grandparents house was it then that she dyed her hair back to BROWN. Because when she rented the car on June 3rd the rental agent said her hair was blonde (like in allot of her pictures). I think I missed any questions or testimony on her HAIR. Thanks. (She was arrested 5 days later, right, on June 9th?).

What did you all think of her new glasses?

So I learn something new every time I watch a trial & for instance that Jodie comes into the court room ALWAYS before the Jury because the Defense does not want the Jury to know that she is indeed already in jail serving time and all hand cuffed legs and arms.

So Trial resumes in like 2 weeks & I wonder why?

One more thing, where or what channel do you all turn to when IS is over at 3pm? Thanks.

I don't know about her hair, but of course the defense wants to portray her as a victim. But if they saw all the pictures they know there is another side to Jodi. I think they know she is in jail as all the interview tapes they watched showed shows her in her orange jumpsuit. There are other trials going on and now they want a mistrial for evidence and lying. I don't go to any other station, don't have regular t.v. The first page contains a link for for live streaming. This girl is sure a piece of work.

Oh your RIGHT. But every time the trial starts up Vinnie P states that Jodi will be coming in before the Jury so that the Jury won't assume that she is in jail. Because after viewing those interview tapes, I am guessing the Jury would or should assume she is indeed IN jail because the Jury KNOWS she did kill Travis. This trial is to determine death penalty.

I do not think (JMHO) that this Judge will grant a mistrial.

How ya doing, mfdwife? :wave2: Things are fabulous, hope you and yours had a wonderful Christmas. Jen's still sick, stayed home 2 days this week, but went to work today to catch up so she can enjoy this 3 day weekend coming up.

Here's a link to the the 48 Hours show that was broadcast a couple of years ago on this case (the one where Flores states Travis was shot before anything else). Picture Perfect

The man that posted that youtube also writes for HuffPo, here's his article: Jodi Arias Timeline: Key Dates In Case Of California Woman Accused Of Stabbing Ex-Boyfriend 27 Times

There's also quite a few youtubes posted about this case to include the testimonies/trial for anybody who wants to watch it although it does look like TruTV is just re-broadcasting the whole thing.

Here's Day 9 which should include the defense argument for a judgment of acquittal. If any of you are so inclined, here's Rule 20, the grounds for acquittal.

I hate that Jen is having trouble kicking the crap. I'm glad she gets a three day weekend to maybe recouperate. Our pubic school teachers and kids lost theirs because of the sleet and ice that came up earlier this week. It was kind of funny. DD started back to college Monday. On Tuesday, they had to cancel classes early because the sleet hit hard and fast. They started back late Wednesday. It kind of messed them all up. :lmao: Christmas was good. We even got what the NWS called a blizzard on Christmas night. That was a new one for our neck of the woods. We had 8", but the wind was bad and of course knocked everyone's decorations all over the place. It was still kind of neat because it was thundersnow and of course we never get that much.

Thanks for the links. Wow. That woman just looks like a sociopath. She just makes up stuff as she goes along, doesn't she. :sad2: It would take all I have not to jump up and slap her and tell her to quit insulting my intelligence.

I sure hope she doesn't get off. I don't see how anyone could think she was innocent with all the fingerprints, pictures, lies, cuts on her fingers, etc. Stranger things have happened, but even I (just catching up on the case) can see she is a cold blooded murderer, and I really mean cold blooded. The loon even smiled in her police photos.

48 HOURS on CBS Saturday January 19th 10pm will be all about the Jodi Arias Trial.

Thanks! If I can watch it in the middle of the sticks where I'll be helping my grandmother pack up her things, I'll watch it.

I'm still reading whatever I can find on the internet, too. I'm glad his family and friends are strong and know that he'll be drug through the mud because of his religious beliefs and doing some things obviously against them, but don't care if it gets him justice.

:faint: I guess you guys left me enough reading to and catching up to do. I may be busy for a while.

Especially after all the testimony they ask what about the roommates/boarders?

She admits she did it. They have pictures from the camera and a bloody handprint on the wall. And they want to know if law enforcement checked the roommates alibis? :faint:

You sound like me. I feel like I've done little else but read up and watch videos of this case. I want to be well informed by 1/29. :) Well, I did watch the AI Season 12 auditions on youtube. I just didn't feel great today so took a lazy day of :surfweb: :rotfl:
