The amount of patience that man had was amazing! I think it worked well for the jury too. I genuinely liked the guy.

He sure picked a suitable career. He is ever so kind and gentle, then lays it out gently that he still ain't buying it. Did you guys hear laughing in the background while he was interviewing her? I kept thinking that it was other people on the outside laughing at the whole thing.

In many jurisdictions it is rare to have two prosecutors handling a case - even high profile or complicated ones - especially if this is one of a handful the attorney has.

I'm second chairing a double homicide for which the trial is expected to take four weeks or so, but that's because in our office you have to second chair one before you get one on your own. Otherwise the other attorney would have handled the case in her own. And it's a 17 count indictment involving a two week crime spree and five victims.

I wonder if the reason the prosecution didn't ask the color of the "koolaid" stains is because people would assume they're red. I don't recall any testimony that the stains were red.

I think that could be used as part of her defense coz her claim now is she killed him because he was a sex predator and abusive.

I only heard the owner mention the red koolaide stains. Heaven only knows why he let her in the house. I caught that her saying that isn't why she is jealous. I guess I missed any reference to the stains being red.

I've tried and just can't find the motion that was filed some time back (2012) where Jodi (representing herself with Nurmi and another attorney as advisors) supplied the court with supposed emails and instant messages from Travis because she wanted to use them as a foundation and evidence for her claim of abuse. The prosecution said they were forgeries and the judge denied the motion. This all relates back to the argument the defense brought up earlier (asking for mistrial) under prosecutorial misconduct reference the Verizon witness and whether or not Flores/detectives took pictures of the instant messages.

I figure the defense will try at the minimum to construe any testimony from domestic violence experts as Jodi's testimony even if she doesn't testify.
