I currently work part time as an Adim. Assistant at a very small IT firm in downtown Cleveland which is 30 from home.
I also am waiting on a call today for another company that is only 7 miles from home. I went for thedrug test on Wed and would think that I would hear from them today since they wanted me to do the drug test before Friday.
Anyway I am torn. My current job is very low keyed. In fact I am bored most of the time because I have nothing to do. Yet I have a very flexible schedule no set start time get to make my own schedule. I am under paid. As is the other girl in our office who started 4 months after me.
But the fact that by 9:00 a.m. I am bored makes for a very long day.
Any me and my hubby get to car pool because he works 3 blocks from me.
The new job would be closer to home. It too is part time in the accts receivable dept for which I have very little experience. Which makes me a bit nervous. I feel that they got the wrong impression of me at the interview. The company has about 100 people and roughly 300 clients.
So I work Tue. Wed. Thurs at my current job and the new job would be Mon Wed Fri so my hubby told me to take off on Wed at my current job and work at my new job for a week and see how I like it.
Not to mention it I get offered the new job they would probably want me to start the Tue after Labor day but I will be at Disney till the 13. I don't want to spend my vacation thinking about this and worring
So I don't know what to do.

). I was filling in for someone for several months and although it was long rumored that I was going to get the person's position (not my intentions at all! just doing what I was asked), I still didn't even consider it until I was actually offered the position. If they call and offer you the job, I would ask your questions at that time - write a list of them so you can ask them. I always forget when I'm on the phone! If you're not able to ask right then, ask if you're able to call them with a decision on Monday. That gives you the weekend to think of the questions and talk with your DH to see what you both think is the best to do. I'd be very up front about the vacation as well so you're all on the same page right from the start.
. I had my "real" job starting so I turned them down.
