I just found out that there is a Margaritaville in Oahu located on the second floor lobby of the OHANA Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel. :goodvibes

Has anyone been to it???? And if so, how was the parking situation.

This is our favorite place to stop on any vacation and we are so excited to find out about this. :yay: We will be sure to stop there at least once.

Here's a copy of the menu. :woohoo:

Not that we drink much....... :rolleyes1 but check out the 45 ounce take home cup on page #4.

We were there in 2010 and really enjoyed it. However, I can't comment on the parking as we were staying at another resort and were able to walk to the restaurant.

It is on the second floor, and if you are in the outdoor seating area it has a great view of Waikiki Beach and the ocean.

As far as food, my wife and daughter were happy with their meals, but I don't remember what they had. However, my son and I both had the Mahi Mahi fish tacos and still talk about how much we liked them.

Based on Hawaii prices, a $16 entree, with a view of the ocean, with the typical Margaritaville atmosphere, is a bargain in our opinion.

That's one of me and DH's favorite places to eat when we visit US/IOA...love eating on the "Porch of Indecision". I don't know about going there in Hawaii though, there seems to be so many other more native resorts that yu

Just got back from Hawaii yesterday (sniff). We ate there on Tuesday, which happened to be "National Margarita Day"! (but we didn't have margaritas). We found parking about three blocks away, off of Kuhio Street. It's a park and lock lot, think it was $7.00 for four hours. Part of the lot looks really seedy, but if you enter off of Kuhio, and drive around part of the lot, the side near Kuhio Street looks fine. Food was yummy, drinks were yummier!!!! So sad to be home (especially since we woke up to snow this morning). Sigh!

Ate there a couple years ago and enjoyed it. My nephew thought the nachos were to die for! He liked them so much that a couple days later when we were lounging by our hotel pool, he decided to go down and get them again for lunch.

If you love Margaritaville, you are going to have to come to Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana. They have just started building one here in the casino area along the river. It's a lot easier coming here than going to Aulani (unless you live in Hawaii or California).

Fun Margaritaville. My DD lived on Kuhio, right behind Kapulana (sp?) where Margaritaville is. There is parking around the area, but like most in Hawaii, it is fairly expensive. Make a night of walking around the area......lots of fun stuff to do.

Also a great breakfast on the ocean across the street......called Dukes. Ask for an outside table if the weather is nice..........lovely.

There is also a California Pizza kithen where you can sit outside and overlook Waikiki Beach!!

Have fun!!!

Thanks for all the great responses. :thumbsup2

I couldn't agree more. :)

There are coupons in the entertainment book. :)

I haven't decided to buy it yet. Are there coupons for the North Shore too? :confused3

I'm glad you had a great time and got back home safe. I actually found out after I asked, that they had parking information right on the site. It says.... "Jimmy Buffett's at the Beachcomber parking is available at the Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel. Valet parking is always free for up to four hours with a receipt from the Jimmy Buffett's at the Beachcomber restaurant or retail store!"

And by the way.... it's ALWAYS national Margarita Day for me! :woohoo:

That is one of my stops on my Bucket List.

I can honestly say we are getting real excited for this trip. :yay::yay::yay:
