Ain't that the truth!! Seems like every one of the "nice" rejected girls or guys goes on to become a huge jerk when they get picked for the Bachelor/ette. I almost don't want to see any of the people I liked get picked, because I know I'll hate them by halfway through the season.

That's because the producers make them do nasty things like drop the rejected person off a train in the middle of nowhere, or take them on a two-fer date and dump one in front of the other. But the fact is, the Bachelor/ettes DO go along with it, and they know what they're getting into.

I thought Jake was a nice guy, but he didn't do anything for me in the department. Now, Reid...he was a cutie.

I hated that contrived "return and tell you about Wes" crap they put him in this past Bachelorette! He's not that good of an actor!

For me, what makes me dislike one of the Bachelor/Bachelorettes is more the things they do or say that aren't producer plants. Like Bob sucking the face off most of the women in his season and generally acting like a big 'ol horndog. Or Deanna being SO self-centered and immature during hers (Y'all are BREAKING MY HEART! You aren't focused on MEEE!!). Or Jen giving the impression that she was better than any of the guys in her season. Or Jason dumping Melissa after picking her. Blech- and all of these folks seemed so nice and normal when they weren't the focus of their own season...
