Hi DisBrides! I hope everyone had a good week, its Friday! Mah H is off for the next 2 weeks

I got my hair done tonight and they were having a 20% off sale at the salon. It was so nice to have my hair professionally done. Nothing against my sister but it is so much nicer at a salon. Now my roots aren't scary and I look like an actual blonde I still haven't spoken to my sister. It has been almost a week. We're both supposed to go to dinner @ our mom's Sunday so that should be nice and awkward.

Still waiting for my tiara to arrive, it should be here by Monday according to the tracking.

I'm starting to really stress over silly things like getting the right pictures. I've been studying pics to try to figure out what I want. I'm worried I'll make a stupid face or something, I hope Randy tells me if I do!

I looked up the 10 day forecast and it is saying there is a 30% chance of scattered storms Friday for our outdoor welcome party and for our VR on Saturday. I'll be really sad if it rains for the VR and we get a crappy backup location. Ugh. I'm trying not to stress because it is March and it never rains in FL in March.

I finished packing all of the clothes for our kids and now I need to work on my clothes. H is finally starting to ask about the plans for the day and he's on board with helping. You gotta love how uninvolved guys can be in wedding plans!

I hope everyone has a great weekend! Feel free to throw out any last minute tips to help me chill the heck out. I bought 2 bottles of wine and a jug of margaritas so hopefully that works.

Love coming out of the salon and feeling like a new woman! I never can get my hair to smell that good either!

Im really sorry about the recent dramarama and hope things smooth over. Wish more people would celebrate in times like this instead of feud. I've been dealing with similar issues / selfish sister problems so I feel your pain. Hoping you two get it all settled Sunday, if even temporarily!

I can't give you any good tips for your last few days since I haven't been there myself, but I'd say practice your smiles in the mirror! I like to do this before a big event. I'll make a smile I like, then walk away and try to replicate it. Then I'll check it again n the mirror and see if I got it right. That way I feel more confident that I know what I'm going to look like in the photos. And take some shots of yourself on your digital! Play around with poses and stuff, it's fun!

Just a minute there young lady!!!! I remember you telling me just before my VR, not to stress about the weather Well, now I am telling you the same thing!!!! You cannot have any control over the weather - I think this is why it stresses us control freaks out so much!!!! Your VR has been excellently planned, and will be incredibly beautiful no matter what!!! Just enjoy these last few special days sweetie, breathe and remember to relish every moment - smell the flowers, taste the wine, enjoy the food etc and make precious, once-in-a-lifetime memories!!!!!

That made me laugh. It is easier to tell other people not to worry about the weather but I'm bad at taking my own advice. But you are so right. At this point I'm forcing myself to be OK with anything and everything that happens, even if that means a thunder storm. No matter what we will have fun and the GF is indoors and those are the pictures I want most.
