Which do you prefer? I have ADRs at both, but don't know if we really want to do both. This is for a young adult who asked to do Victoria & Albert's! Which has the better food?

TIA!

For a young adult who would like V&A's - Jiko, no question.

Jiko is more upscale-less kids-quieter
Boma-buffet style- lots of families
Both have very good food but we love Jiko.

We enjoy both but if you're with someone who is looking for upscale, definitely choose Jiko.

We stayed at AKL in May and did both and were happy we did. We hadn't been to Boma's in a few years and thought the food was fine (plus a couple Mt. Killamaritas!).

Boma offers the opportunity to try a little of everything, but Jiko would have a more gourmet flair. Let us know what you choose!

Yes, I agree with the fellow disers, both are great, and get great reviews, but if you like V & A and upscale things, then without a doubt go with Jiko. I hope that you have a magical trip!

We tried Jiko's for the first time in January. My Dh fell in love with the place! We have also done V&A and would recommend Jiko's. We have ADR's for Sept. and can't wait. Boma's is wonderful too (love the soups). I'd keep the ADR's for both especially if your staying at AKV.
