Jiko- Cooking Place seating?

Getting armed and ready for the 90 day mark! Has anyone sat at the cooking place in Jiko's. What was your experience and was this seating something specific that can be arranged when making regular phone AR's?

I loved doing this, the chefs were pretty chatty.

Don't know about ADRs, I just showed up and asked to sit there.

We do it every time we go. You have to ask when you get to the hostess stand, it's not something you arrange over the phone.

We love watching the appetizers being made, and every once in a while they'll let you have a small taste of something. The chefs are always very friendly and as talkative as their work allows them to be - sometimes it's too busy to be chatty, but if it's slower they're more talkative.
