Jiffy Shirts

I am going to be getting a number of shirts from them, but am confused by their sizing.

Their sizing is XS (2-4), S (6-8), M (10-12) and L (14-16) for kids

My DD is almost 5, weighs 40lbs and wears a size 5 or 5T shirt. Should I get her a XS or S?

Hi there - I am SOOO with you on the kind of weird sizing! I was in the same dilemma. I ordered all of our shirts/hoodies/sweatshirts from hanes.com. Our two oldest kiddos - one just turned 6 (kind of small for his age), the other is soon to be 5 (way huge for her age) - I ordered them a size S (the 6-8). I think the shirts will shrink a bit - and when I asked a CSR during a phone call - they said the XS was more like a 4/5 and the S was more like a 5/6... I have already gotten a few of the things ordered - and size looks great! I feared the S would be too big - but it isn't! Hope that helps!

Oh wow! I had not come across that website so just checked it out... It appears you are getting a great deal and great pricing! I paid slightly more for most of the items I ordered - and slightly less on some too... So maybe it was a wash. But I wish I had known about this site a few days ago before I ordered 30 clothing items!

One more thing... If you order that Rabbit Skins brand - I think their items run VERY small... I've had that experience in the past - and just yesterday received two things that are supposed 2T - but I'm not sure they'll even fit our 15 month old baby (which is who I ordered them for). So, if that brand - I'd definitely err on the side of going up one size. Just my thoughts.

I bought shirts through Jiffy a few months ago. I have a 4 yr 40 lb son who fit really well in a size Small. It was a little big, but not that bad. Definitley would recommend the small and not the xs. Just my 2cents!

My DS is 5 and 42 lbs. I ordered him a Small in both the Anvil and Gildan brands, and they were the right size ( a little big, but not too much). I also ordered the XS size for my DS2 (he is wearing a 3T/4T), and that was good for him, but would have been too small for my DS5. I loved Jiffyshirts - I got all of my shirts within 3 or 4 days!
