I've just discovered the Jibbitz bracelet, which seems like it would be an awesome souvenir for a 7-year-old -- inexpensive, sturdy, customizable, and colorful.

I see lots and lots of Disney-themed Jibbitz buttons for sale on eBay, but wondered if they could be purchased at WDW gift shops? Should I order the bracelet ahead of time? Or are they also available in the parks?

I figure someone here must know the answer!

Edited to Add: Here's the web address for the Jibbitz bracelets, or "wristbands" as they call them:

Edited again to add:

The pink "thick" wristband arrived today in the mail (ordered it on 7/9 and it arrived on 7/14), along with the Mulan Jibbitz. Both look great! :woohoo: I'm going to put it away for the trip so it's fresh and exciting when we get there!

I bought my DS Jibbitz at Epcot last year. They had a stand just for Disney crocs and jibbitz. I don't recall seeing the bracelets there ,but maybe? i'm sure they probably have them at MK also.:)

Thank you, chloe770! I think I will go ahead and order the bracelet so she'll have that when she gets to the park and can just choose the Jibbitz as she finds ones she wants!

Thank you for the awsome idea. My DD's love their crocs and they love their Jibbitz. DH wants to buy our souvenirs ahead of time to save money. Just randomly slip them to the kids and say here look what we just bought you. Great execpt DD#1 is picky as all heck and I can't pick out stuff she likes anymore. But I do know she likes princess jibbitz. I may just pick some of these up ahead of time as nightly tinkerbell presents.

There are a number of "lots" of Disney Princess Jibbitz' on eBay. A lady named Genevieve seems to do a lot for around $1 each in lots of 5, 7, or 11.

My husband will probably give me a hard time for ordering one ahead of time, but when I ordered the bracelet, I got the Mulan Jibbitz. We have such a hard time finding Mulan items (we adopted our little girl from China), that I go on auto-pilot when I find anything Mulanish!

What is a Tinkerbell present???

I'm sure that isn't what they are officially called but I read about them on these boards. Sort of like the tooth fairy apparently tinkerbell likes to leave presents in your hotel. So either as you are slipping out of the hotel for the day you leave a tinkerbell present on your child's pillow for them to return to and tell them it was from tinkerbell or you can slip it under their pillow at night so they wake up with it. Not sure it would work on DD#1 though as she already knows mommy is the toothfairy and tells me all the time when we see different characters mommy that is just a person in a costume. I had to tell her about the toothfairy because she was freaked out at the idea of someone even a nice fairy coming into her bedroom at night while she was sleeping - when you put it that way can't say that I blame her. So she knows I'm the toothfairy and she asked me if she could be DD#2's toothfairy sure why not.

Thanks for the ebay tip off to check it out.

That's so cute, Holly! I'll have to remember that!

(btw, my kid still won't sit on Santa's lap -- frankly, I think the instinct to avoid the laps of strange old men is a pretty good one...)

Holly7347, I just had to tell you that I went to the Dollar Tree today and for $20 got four nights' worth of Tinkerbell gifts! I had the BEST TIME! They had a TON of Disney stuff -- I could have spent $50 and had no room to pack anything else in my suitcase!

I found Princess gel pens and Hannah Montana memo pads, a light up pen with a wiggling Piglet, one of those towels that grows when you put it in water with the Princesses on it, a Tinkerbell stamp set, a HSM hand sanitizer with a carbiner to attach it to a backpack, Mickey Mouse stickers, and a bag of four Ring Pops. I even found a little vinyl tote with a picture of a palm tree on it to serve as the daily packaging!

Thanks so much for the idea! I looked for little things that might entertain her while waiting in lines or during downtime in the room rather than actual trip souvenirs, which I imagine we will still be buying, but for $5 a day, I'm pretty happy with what I found!

Do you remember how much the Jibbitz were at Epcot?

I don't know the answers to your questions (since this will be our first time to Disney), but I just wanted to say thanks for the great idea. I didn't realize that they had Jibbitz bracelet's.

We also plan to leave a gift from Tinkerbell each night. I'm sure that my girls will know that it was me, but it will still be fun to do. This is a great gift idea! I'm wanting small things that will fit into our luggage easily. We are also doing a welcome gift basket (from Mickey of course) since this will be our first trip, but will have that delivered by someone.

Anyway, thank you for the idea ..... I love reading things like this ...... I get so many good ideas from people here on the DIS. :)

I'm not sure if WDW will have the Jibbitz bracelets (I didn't know about them until I read your post...thank you because I am going to purchase one for our "tinkerbell" to leave during our trip) but they do sell Jibbitz at Epcot and Magic Kingdom. They were $3.99 each. We had bought some to go in the crocs but the Jibbitz eventually fall out of the Mickey crocs.

We had to get my son new crocs because no jibits stay in the disney ones. We ordered him lightening mcqueen ones from the crocs website and it is love. They are total jibitz fans and I love the tinkerbell idea. I now have more stuff that i need to buy and pack. soooo excited thanks!!!!

Thanks, CatesRDisneyFans! Good to hear they sell them at MK, too!

It's sooooo tempting to buy some off eBay, where they're $1 each instead of $4, but I guess most of the fun is in choosing them then and there!

I got them for $4.00 in April at the gift shop at Pop. Most of them had a round washer type piece of plastic on them so you could now use them with the mickey head hole crocs.

Dollartree is where I got our tinkerbell stuff too :thumbsup2 . We got princess yo-yo's, mickey mouse puzzles, princess school workbooks, princess shaped chalk, princess stickers and all kinds of stuff. I got some princess nightlights too for our hotel.

I almost ordered a jibbitz bracelet after your first post but the color I thought my DD's would like was sold out in her size. We have 3 months so hopefully they will be restocked by then. And I have been checking out ebay for jibbitz.

I hope they'll get back in stock, Holly7347! I'm really pleased with the sturdieness of it -- good solid snaps (which make the bracelet a little bit adjustable), and nice think rubbery plastic to hold the Jibbitz.
