Jewish Question: Mezuzah Scrolls?

Does anyone know the difference between a standard kosher scroll & a certified kosher scroll?

We are having our wedding glass set into a mezuzah & I'm not sure which scroll to order online. We are not super-religious.

My guess is that the only difference is that one comes with a cwrtificate verifying it is kosher.

Basically a kosher scroll is handwritten on parchment paper, and a non kosher scroll is copied. Once you have the information, you can do what you feel is the best choice for you.
