Jewellery Stores?

I wasn't sure where to post this question, but here goes:

Are there any stores in DTD or in the parks that sell real jewellery? Not just the $12 cubic zirconia Mickey earrings? (I already have those! )

When we went in 1998, I got some gorgeous jewellery out of Animal Kingdom. People still comment today on the necklace.

There is a jewelry store on main street in the magic kingdom. Also a gift shop in the Contemporary Resort sells some .

I am sure that it depends on what you are looking for. In 2004, our last trip, I was looking for some simple earrings and could only fine "Mickey" ones or some with Disney characters. I did want a Disney watch though and bought a really nice one in DTD.

I think you will find the largest selection at The World Of Disney at Downtown Disney.

There is also another place I love to shop for jewelry and that is at MGM. The shop is on the right side as you make your way to TT or RR.

The gift shop at the GF, YC, and CR all have a selection of precious and semi-precious stones and pearls. I've also seen nice pieces at the watch shop in MGM.

I've got a pair of sapphire Mickey earrings given to me as a gift by someone who used a substantial CM discount when they were purchased. I'll warn you right now, those earrings were (I think) $425 pre-discount, so you're paying through the nose for an icon.

You can also buy Mikimoto pearls in the depaertment store in Japan in Epcot, but you can find them for much better prices outside of WDW.

If you like silver jewelry and turquoise, check out Mexico in Epcot. They have some beautiful pieces. Also, Italy has Murano Glass jewelry set in sterling silver, also very pretty. The price are pretty reasonable and I always manage to pick up a piece or two, or three, or four, etc.

Arribas Bros at DTD and MK (near Pirates) has some nicer things. Germany @ EPCOT has some pretty jewelry.
