jetblue schedule?

IME JB only announces the date they'll be opening up the schedule a couple of days before (I usually get an email). I checked my emails, and last year they extended through the end of October on March 7th (I bought my early Oct. tix they day they released). I believe that release included at least part of September (I'm pretty sure late Sept. was included, not sure about the first part of the month though). HTH a little bit!:goodvibes

I was just about to post the same question and then I saw your thread. I'm hoping they extend it to at least mid-October when they release their new fares. I'm traveling 9/30-10/8. Continental's fares are out but I really don't want to fly with them - JetBlue is so much better. I'm just getting impatient.

We are waiting as well for jetblue to release their flights. we are flying in september as well. Someone told me that tuesdays are the best days to purchase our flights. Is it best to buy the first day they are released?

I've heard Tuesdays in mid-afternoon is the best time to purchase airfare. I'm not sure how the prices are the first day they're released. I just want to get my airfare taken care of already and am really getting impatient with JetBlue! :headache:

I can't even look anywhere but Jetblue..I have enough credits for 2 airfares and we are going 9/14-18. I hope they post them soon - I don't want the credits to expire :(

Usually, yes, that is the best time to purchase JB tickets. As they sell them, the price will usually increase. On occassion it will drop, even lower than your initial price, but then you can call them and get a credit for the fare difference. You will then have 1 year to use that credit towards another JB flight.

I have never used JetBlue. Do they charge you a change fee in this scenario, if you get a credit for the fare difference?

I see some information about travel credits on JetBlue's site, but it's not jumping out at me that they will give you a credit when your fare drops. I do see they charge a change fee for changing your flight.

I am used to SWA where you can rebook your existing flight if/when a lower fare appears and you get travel funds. With them there is no change fee.

They charge $100 per ticket for a change fee on a non-refundable fare. The credit is good for one year from the date you change the ticket.

It is funny how we think. I was just on Jetblue's site and when I saw they are only going to September 4, my first thought is to come over here and see if anything is posted. I was hoping that they release there dates soon for September. I am trying to decide if I want to fly out of our local airport (with layovers) or drive a little over an hour away (Philly) or about an hour and 20 minutes (Newark). Once Jetblue announces there schedule it would help my decision.

So here I wait patiently (not) and driving my DH nuts about this daily.

Count me in the waiting for JB schedule group! We are planning on going 9/15-9/22 and need that darn schedule to decide if we are flying or driving!!!!!

I read somewhere that it won't be until around March that they release our dates. Too long for me!!:headache: Right now I am looking at a combination of SW and Airtran, but not sure of what to do. If you look at Jetblue prices for August right now they seem very high. Not liking that.:sad2:

No, they do not charge a change fee. As long as the fare for your flight has dropped they will credit you the difference. If you choose to change your flight or cancel they will then charge you the change fee.
