JetBlue schedule opens on 10/18/10

The August prices are very high! Does anyone know if they will come down at all or is that price set in stone?

I just booked for $258 round trip SYR-MCO for a late August - early September trip (both ways direct flights). I figured since we're flirting with Labor Day I'd just book now and not worry about paying more than this.

Dawn

Does Jet Blue let you reschedule for a lower fare without a fee? Do you get a full credit if a lower fare comes up? Also, is it transferrable (I see that SW has changed this rule as of 1/11)?

I am getting $430 for end of Aug, which is much higher than expected also. I am hoping that it is some kind of glitch and the fares aren't fully loaded correctly because they aren't supposed to be released until tomorrow.:confused3

Holy crap!! I got that too for mid-August, from Buffalo to MCO. If I wanted to pay that, I would just book here from Toronto. I have a small credit with JetBlue but I might have to keep my eye on SW now.

Yes-next set of dates available to book. Now through 9/6/11.

With Jet Blue if the price drops you can call and they will issue you a credit for a future flight. I think they will only do that once but not sure.

No way! that's terrific: Just booked based on your shared knowledge!

I use JB always and am always getting the credits. Just FYI, you can get as many credits as you can for each flight. If you buy at 99 and it drops to 89, get a credit, if it then drops to 79 call again.

BUT -- You can not get a credit if it's a ONE DAY WEB ONLY Sale (like today). I called and was told that. (I didn't know this).

Plus you can get all of your credits pooled into ONE account, which makes it easy to use later.

$69 does sound good but I'd rather pay $99 to fly Jet Blue than drive to Providence. I can take the boat to Logan from Quincy so that is better than driving over an hour to Providence. For my dates SW is $118 each way so JB is only $5 more RT.

Where are you staying in May? I just this morning booked BWI CL with AAA discount so we'd have a room if when we buy airfare. I didn't put my friends on the reservation yet-hoping maybe one of them would get a pin code.

I'm jealous of your AKL CL trip. I thought about booking AKL CL for my bday trip but with 3 adults I think BWI will work better for us.

I will be 11 weeks post op on my right foot tomorrow. It is looking good today. I still have some pain but no worse than pre surgery-I am still hopeful that it will be considerably better by May. I am scheduled to have my left foot done 11/22-the Monday before Thanksgiving. That will give me 5+ months to recover before May. I haven't gone 9 months between trips in about 6 years. I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end. At least with my left foot I'll be able to drive. Not driving for 7 weeks was really tough!

We're going to stay at Coronado Springs in May. Since we're doing a seven night cruise first, I had to keep the costs down! ;) I'm looking forward to staying there, we have free dining, so I think it'll be good. :thumbsup2

I'm looking forward to trying out AKL CL too! I hope to see some animals from the balcony.

I can't imagine not being able to drive for seven weeks! Especially since you have younger kids, with who I imagine have alot of activities.

I would much rather fly out of Logan, but we'd have to mooch rides from someone to get there, with PVD, we can just leave the car in the parking lot. The parking is sooooo much more reasonable there, than BOS.

I sure hope so... I'm flabberghasted at the cost of flights for August. As much as I love Jetblue, we might be trying out Southwest this trip... :confused3

I was looking for flights in Aug too and I can't believe how expensive it is! I am going to wait and check everyday to see if the prices get any better.
