I have flown JetBlue from Boston to Orlando several times in the past year and a half, and I have to say that JetBlue is a fantastic airline. I have always had great service, and most of the time, my flights have been on time, or early! The staff is great on the ground and in the air, and the planes are always spotless!

But the reason I'm writing this today is because of something that happened to me this week that shows just how great an airline JetBlue really is, and why I intend to continue to fly JetBlue whenever I can.

On Monday, when I arrived at Orlando International Airport to take my flight from Orlando to Boston, I found out that my flight was going to be delayed. JetBlue was having problems with their computer system, and it lead to long delays for all of their flights. By the time my flight took off, it was close to two hours late leaving Orlando. While it was a bit frustrating to be stuck in the airport for extra time, I just chalked it up to a bit of bad luck. As I've said, I've had great luck with JetBlue, so I figured I was due for a bit of a delay.

Well, yesterday, I received an e-mail from JetBlue that really surprised me, and pleased me. The e-mail explained the reason behind the delay and sent me a $50 voucher for the inconvience caused by the delay! It was totally unexpected. I hadn't intended about complaining about the delay or looking for compensation, so when I received that e-mail, it showed me just how great a company JetBlue really is!

To be proactive and try to do right by your customer's before they even complain about problems is rare these day. I have had many great experiences with JetBlue, but this was the first time they took the first step!

So, I am one happy JetBlue customer!

WOW!! That's great!! We too, love JetBlue. Like you said, our flights have always arrived early, or on time. But usually early.

That voucher would be burning a hole in my pocket!!! So, when are you going back??? LOL

Wow Karen....that's enough of an endorsement to have me check into JetBlue a little more often. I'm flying SW on Friday for the first time. Usually fly Song, so maybe the next time I'll try JetBlue. Thanks!!!

Thanks for the great words about Jet Blue.

I have finally given up on dealing with SWA's crap flying out of MHT and am flying Jet Blue for the first time out of Boston next month. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about them.

We are also huge Jet Blue fans. We have been using them since 2003. We live about 10 minutes from Islip airport where SW flies out of, but drive 1 hour to JFK just for Jet Blue.

This is good to know. My DH refuses to fly SWA, since he's hesitant to fly on any airline that doesn't have reserved seats. Does Jetblue have reserved seats? We flew Spirit last April out of Detroit, and it was fine, although I did reserve in their version of first class, so that my DH would be happy. (He's a Platinum Mileage guy on American airlines, so that's who he'd usually fly, but AA doesn't seem to have direct flights from here to Orlando.) I'll have to see if we have Jetblue service here. TIA! :sunny:

Thats for posting this. I'll be taking Jetblue to WDW in March, and have never flown them before, so it's great to read good reviews. :)

Jet Blue does reserve seats. I'm looking forward to that, after flying nothing but SWA for the past few years. You can book your flight online and reserve your seats at the same time. The rows further back (I think 11 back) have a greater pitch for more leg room and those up front have standard pitch. I'm really excited about giving them a try next month and I keep hoping the rumors of them moving into MHT are true.

Thanks, Dznyntnh! I'll do a little research to see if they operate flights out of Detroit! :cool1:

That's great! They are a great airline. I was flying back to NY from Fort Lauderdal back in March, when NY had an ice storm, delaying flights. Well, the JetBlue staff was amazing. They were calm, helpful & I got home safe & sound.

The only thing I don't like about JB is the snacks! They don't appeal to me. But like a previous poster, I live close to Islip airport, but I go to JFK to fly JetBlue.

What a great testimonial! :teeth:

Starting in the fall, JetBlue is going to be flying out of Newark.
Can't wait to try them!

Another Jetblue fan here, I just made another ressie this morning. A few of the flights we took the flight crew were cracking jokes over the microphones. It was hilarious, made the flight go by very quick. I get the feeling the employees love their jobs. I love the Direct TV and the fact that you are given real headphones instead of the cheap ones you get on Song and the little plugs don't even stay in your ears. You can't go wrong with Jetblue.

Same thing happened to my MIL, two hour delay flying back home to Orlando from Boston and she also received a $50 voucher for future service.

We are flying them for the first time next Saturday and hopefully our experience is just as nice, and I suspect it will be, though I have three kids that we are flying with :earseek: that have never flow before....

It is so nice to hear continuted positive things about JetBlue. We also feel that their customer service is fantastic. The kids begged to fly JetBlue on our trip next week. When I made the count down paperlinks for our trip I used the jetblue logo as the last link and they were more excited about that picture than some of the others I created :)

Another Jet Blue fan here. We have being flying it ever since it came to Boston. We were Delta before that, but not once since we have been flying Jet Blue have the prices been lower on Delta Song, plus whenever we tried to use the mileage we have with Delta, there's never availability. Also, whenever the price has gone done on the tickets we have purchased with Jet Blue, they have been more than happy to give us a credit for the difference. Right now we have a $60 credit towards our next trip! We also have had great attendants with great senses of humor.

Another Long Island family who will drive an hour to get to JET BLUE! We flew SW last February..... They are not even close to being in the same league as Jet Blue.

Jetblue employs around 1,000 reservationist.......and they all work from home. Now that is a smart move!!!

I with you guys Jet Blue Rocks! I live about 15 minutes from Manchester Airport yet I'm driving the 1hr to Logan to fly JetBlue.
