You will be able to book flights through Oct. 29th.![]()

tks! Can't wait to see what prices they offer us this time. The last time they were so high, I'm still waiting to buy my August fares. Just bought my May tickets 2 weeks ago after the price dropped.
I keep hearing conflicting reports about gas prices. Some experts say they'll only go up, some say they'll go back down soon.
How much did your May tickets go down? Thanks! For some reason we don't get the email alerts. Thanks for keeping us informed!
I'm always afraid to wait. Guess I'll have to see what the prices are. The August fares I'm seeing from our airport are about double what we usually pay.I keep hearing conflicting reports about gas prices. Some experts say they'll only go up, some say they'll go back down soon.

If anything, maybe I can get a decent price for a flight home on 10/8!
My May tickets were $119-$129 each way. When they dropped to $88, I bought. Normally for my area the base amount is $79, so I was OK with $88. Sometimes during a sale they will drop to $64. I only buy one way tickets, so I often will buy one way at a different time than the other one. When we went in January this year we paid $59 each way. My August tickets are starting to move downward now, so I watched them daily (and w/Yapta). Good luck. But remember the nice part of Jetblue is they will offer you a credit if you price drops and the credit is good for a year.
Southwest's sept fares are about that, too. We're going Oct 11 - Oct 17.
The last time I really tried getting good fare/flight times was in 2006. I did try
I can fly Jetblue out of Boston OR Southwest out of Providence.
Jetblue opens up Monday and I haven't got a clue when Southwest will open up.
I have to decide which to go with and when to book! I'm getting stressed out!

IIRC, I read that SW opens the following Monday....
I'm so out of practice on getting good flight prices/times!

The last time I really tried getting good fare/flight times was in 2006. I did try for our summer trip last year but that was a last minute trip and the prices were so high we ended taking the train (YUCK).
This time, I'm booking ASAP if I think the price is the best I'm going to get.

I'm leaning toward Southwest due to Providence being easiler to get in and out of and parking being cheaper.
Both Jetblue and Southwest have 1 free bag, correct?
Jetblue has TVs?
Isn't there something about Southwest regarding seating? I can't remember. Maybe you have to wait to be assigned seats? Or maybe it's how they board?
Any opinions on what you'd do if you were me?
