Well I have been watching the fares since they come out for October and finally today it was $89.00. So I booked one way going on the 28th. Now I just have to wait for the November rates so we can get home. I was really starting to get nervous with all of the talk about price increases. Now at least I feel like I can start to get excited.

We were waiting for Jetblue to come out with fares for 9/8 and 9/18, as they were out only through 9/4 for the longest time (kind of reminds me of last year's wait for early Oct AP rates...which never appeared :rotfl2: , LOL). I finally spotted them on a travel site, even before they were on Jetblue's own site. To be on the safe side, I called Jetblue and booked over the phone, at 74 each way/person. I was sooooo afraid that the fares would come out at over 100 each way because of the stories I've heard here and in the news, so I snached up the first seats available on our flights. I figured the price would be a bit less once they became available on the website, but they were the same as I got over the phone. A few days later, the price went up to 89. each way. I feel like I got a great price, as the absolute cheapest I ever paid was 135 RT, so this isn't horribly far off. I probably could have gotten a better price from Airtran, AA, or SW, but we would've had to fly out of an airport a bit further from home. This was $ well spent. We love Jetblue!
BTW, I didn't even have my WDW resort booked until a day or so after the free dining came out. I thought I was going to have to wait all summer for an AP rate, and then some for a decent Sept airfare sale. Well, the free dining was like a gift, so I jumped on it, and the decent airfare followed a few days later. Feels like it was meant to be..... :woohoo:

Would you mind sharing with us what travel site you got the JETBLUE rates from? :confused3 I'm anxiously awaiting Nov rates to be released, and if there is another site I can check, I will. TIA

I discovered this website when a poster mentioned it on these boards, so I'm just passing it on....
It is the only site I've seen that brings up Jetblue's flights.
Good Luck!

Just to let you know the prices on Kayak.com are the same as jetblue's own website. Good luck.

HolliePoppins is right about Kayak.com having the same prices as JetBlue BUT - Kayak is a travel search engine. It makes its money (or will, when it starts turning a profit) from advertisers and vendors, NOT from service charges to us, the customers. I have absolutely NO connection with the site, but would like to ask that anyone searching on kayak.com then link to the seller through that site.
