Does anyone prefer Jet Blue over Southwest?

I'm deciding which airline to book for our January trip. I haven't flown either.

Jet Blue prices are $59 and Southwest is much higher. Should I wait for Southwest to drop their prices? Southwest flights are direct.

Another point I should mention is that I want to fly out on a Sunday, does Southwest ever offer low Sunday fares?

Thanks!

SW is the only non stop that I know ofso we are going with that or them! My TA is looking for good rates for me but will probably be another month before the sschedule for SW is out.

Hi!
I have looked at all of the airlines out of BUF many times. IMHO SW has the best times and often has n/s flights. Jet Blue flies through NYC before going south much of the time and I thought their length of trip times were very long in many cases. If you don't want to commit to SW yet, give Airtran a look. Most of their flights are below $100 one way...don't know what their policy is on giving credit if the fare goes down though. Their layovers are Atlanta, not a frigid NYC. I have booked SW for flights from BUF to MCO (Saturday) and am waiting to see what happens with dings before I book return flights. The most recent dings for BUF have not been for Sunday, though. Saturday was a choice along with a couple of weekdays.
Best wishes for your plans!
Anne

Thanks!

Although the Jet Blue in flight TV's sounds tempting, I think I'll wait a little longer for Southwest to reduce their fares. I'll also check Airtrans for their direct flights.

I am also from buffalo and The kids love jet blue because of the the tvs but I perfer SW because of the direct flights. (you can always bring a portable dvd player the flights are only 2 1/2 hrs and the kids usually go to sleep and wake up in orlando. :sunny:
