My daughter and a bunch of her friends are going to WDW at the end of July and flying Jet Blue. I've looked at their site and just get confused about when they start charging for bags. Can she take a back pack on as her personal bag and then check a bag for free or is that a $50 fee?

If you have flown on Jet Blue lately can you tell me your experience?

Thanks!

If she already has her ticket paid for the first checked bag is free. Rumor has it that the next round of fares released there will be options which include paying for the first checked bag. None of knows exactly what the setup will be but anyone who has already bought their ....you are good.

I'm flying JB next Dec and again in Jan. Tickets have been bought and paid for. To the best of my knowledge, I get that first checked bag free. When the next dates roll out, we may very well see checked baggage fees start....for all bags. But, if you've already got an existing ticket, you should be fine. Your dd can take a backpack as her carry-on. And get that first checked bag free.
