Been going during the first 2 weeks in November since 1995 (also from NJ lol). It USED to be dead, but it has definitely picked up on crowds in recent years due to things going on around that time. Nothing that isn't manageable, but definitely more crowded than it once was. Last year I was there Nov 5-14th, and it was more crowded and unseasonably hot than I expected. With Food & Wine, marathon weekend (Nov 3-6 this year),
MVMCP's and Jersey Week going on, it draws a little bit more crowds during the beginning to mid November. I still had an amazing trip last year. Jersey Week isn't crazy crowded and nothing like summer and holiday crowds, but you'll find more people from NJ than usual. We went to Hoop Dee Doo one night last year and it was hilarious because it seemed the whole place was filled with NJ guests lol they kept joking all through out the show about it. On Veterans Day, I made sure to stay away from the WDW parks, and used my Universal/IOA ticket that day and that was the best decision I made! Wait times on the
MDE app were high. Universal and IoA were both pretty much empty the whole day, so it was wonderful and I got everything done in that one day. Also, one night MK was open until 11pm on 11/6, on a Friday night, so after Hoop Dee Doo we took the boat back to MK and the park was SO great, and we walked on a lot of rides. It wasn't an EMH night and it was perfect and one of the best nights as far as crowds go, besides our mvmcp night on Thursday 11/12 - it was the best party I've been to. It wasn't crowded at all, and we were able to walk on everything.
Epcot will be more crowded due to F&W. I stay away on the weekends. I actually enjoy Epcot more when F&W isn't going on, but they've been extending it. It used to end when we would arrive which was great. I even went on a Tuesday and it was still SO crowded. More so World Showcase than Future World. I love Epcot, but I cannot stand wall to wall people in WS lol so if we can avoid the festival from now on, we will.
I usually love the weather that time of year - we have been spoiled through the years with near perfect weather. No humidity, no rain, high 70's to low 80's during the day and 60's at night. But this past November, it was crazy hot - like September hot! I was so glad that I was prepared and packed for it. I was surprised that the whole 10 days, we only got a quick shower one night and one overnight. Hopefully you'll have better temps this November!
