Angelina Jolie is so altruistic, lol...How come we ALWAYS know what, when and where she is doing her good deeds? The publicity doesn't hurt does it?

Truly good people don't do their good deeds to be patted on the back for them. Jolie is both a fraud and a skank. But I admit I am happy she chooses to do some good in the world for no matter what her intentions for doing them (altruistic, good PR or a combination of both) they are still being done, just like Jen using her acting /celebrity medium as her vehicle.

And female celebrities have been doing this for ages...I say more power to them. I don't see anyone calling Faith Hill a "skank" or saying she is "desparate". She just posed on the cover of a magazine in her bikini. She looked amazing. Is is okay for her b/c she is married or b/c a little bit more flesh was covered up? Interesting double standard.

It is funny that when you discuss a picture of a famous male actor posing you don't here they type of comments that this thread has generated.

She is a beautiful woman who posed tastefully on the cover of a magazine. Why does this have to be about her crying out for attention or about her divorce.

Because women are so damn mean to each other it makes me sick.
Because most women don't look ANYTHING like that.
I don't think it has anything to do with any of those reasons....I think it has to do with jealousy.

It's a stunning picture, a classic pin-up for the ages. If I had that body, I'd get pictures done like that as well.

Amen to this! And it does seem to be rooted in jealousy. A man looks good, or gets a promotion, or accomplishes something - people high-five them and support them all the way.

I really don't care if she poses naked and I don't care who buys it, or how many copies it sells. But when people try to make this sound like she did it just because she feels good and showing the world her naked body makes her feel empowered, I have to roll my eyes. Confident people do not put themselves out there that way. They do not need it. If they want naked pictures of themselves, they get them done, and enjoy them in private with their mate. Confident people respect themselves. Only someone desperate for attention plasters their naked image on the cover of magazines.

You're right about the level of talent. My pissiness stemmed from the dang cable man not showing up for a scheduled appt. Unfortunately, I took it out on JA with the dog picture. Since she won't see it, I'm not worried.

She looks great! I don't know about the hand placement, but I blame that on the people directing the shots and then picking that one for the cover.

I like her, but not enough to pay $8 to see her at the theater. She's a rental acress, unless she's with a great actor to carry the movie. I like her enough to see almost all of her movies though.
