OHHH, the dress is soooooo pretty!!!!

When we first started planning our wedding, we were going with a blue and yellow theme....I will see if I still have the bouquet pics saved somewhere!

I think the second bouquet would be gorgeous with the yellow version of that flower! I personally would think some white would look best to mix it up, but I'm just not a big fan of solid singular color bouquets.

Yellow bouquets are hard to find though! I googled it to see what I could find (by now you've noticed I simply can't resist, but I mean well! ).

I think this would be amazing with yellow orchids instead:

At least there's a lot of yellow flowers for you to pick from! I'm sure you'll find something beautiful that you'll fall in love with.

thanks! I really like the last one. Would it be too similar to the girls bouquets? should theirs be different (i'm not set on anything!) What flowers are the blue ones in the first bouquet? I like those a lot

UPS "tried" to deliver our topper today...except that he didn't ring to the door bell and just left this taunting note saying he will be back tomorrow. I hung around because I knew it would be coming today! BOOOOOO I wanna see it!!!!!

Sorry, I have deleted so much stuff since my laptop started to run out of storage (unfortunately school stuff won over wedding stuff).

so.......I got my cake topper today...its beautiful. but i'm not sure if its too big. I tried taking pictures of it to show how big it is but doesn't look right. what is TOO big for a cake topper to not look stupid? I kind of had a hard attack when I opened it. now its growing on me. I'm afraid DF is gonna come in and be like "Are you crazy?!" someone calm me down

I put my hand in so maybe you could tell the size haha

Your cake topper is AMAZING!!! I have no idea what it is like in relation to the top of the cake. How much does it weigh?? If it is light, I wouldn't be too concerned!

it weighs two pounds.....which apparently is a lot

I tried to weigh myself with it hahaha so thats what it said that way!

thanks! its Maggie Sottero. As for the jewelry I've been looking on Etsy hoping something similar will show up but cheaper. I tried on 50+ dresses before I found that one. VERY tiring. but in the end worth it. I say try on everything. More you can eliminate the more you can narrow down! Good luck dear

Not too big of a post but just a little updates I didn't say last night. My boss said I can use her fancy printer to print ALL my invites, envelopes AND the labels for my favors.

Didn't mention this before but my favors are going to be a cd with the songs that built our relationship. Me and DF have had an insane journey of a relationship. Through all of our distance I use to make DF mixed tapes, expressing how I felt at the time ect. SO, the cd will start off with us first knowing each other, (songs about i don't know why I like you so much) into distance, my moving to Chicago, my moving to London and then having to leave early into present and being inlove and life working out against all odds. I don't have a list of the songs at this moment but I will probably soon. ALso there will be a booklet with a cd case with a cartoonish version and I'm back and forth if I will include the day we met mini comic I made (posted earlier) what do we think?

SO anyway back to my boss. I want to print stickers for the fronts. I was originally going to just have like silly disney stickers but now I have a color printer to use! Which means I can have color invites as well!

I LOVE saving money!

Found these FG dresses. SO thought i'd post them.

DF got home at 1am last night so haven't had a chance to show him the topper. still worried he will hate it

I feel like i wanted to say more but can't remember so thats it for now!

ALSO awesome news for DF, he got promotes yesterday and is getting a big raise! awesome. I'm still going to be a money saving fool.

Did the box your topper came in have measurements? It's kind of hard to tell the size in the pictures. I think it could be doable still! It's an adorable collectible to have, if nothing else!

The FG dresses are really cute. I like the idea of including your mini comic you made with your favors too. I think that would add a really personal touch.

its doesn't have a size. but I measured it with a ruler and its widest is 9" (not all around) and at the tallest point, Scuttle its 6". Weight is 2 lbs

I don't think that'd be too big at all then, dear! It'll give your cake lots of character! The only thing I would be concerned about is possibly the weight of it.
