The invitations look great! you did a good job. you have great ADRS and plans for your hm. you will have so much fun!!! i still love ohana's breakfast, its my favorite and fun characters. it's amazing how we have been to disney so many times and how many restaurants we have not tried! might have to change that this time.

Thanks! I am very excited about our ADRs! Planning them made everything seem so much closer!! Oh i'm glad you liked Ohana's breakfast! Makes me want to go there more!! I have been to Disney so much but barely tried any of the restaurants, so this time me and DF are doing as much as we can. We haven't eaten at any of our ADRs before!

I folded all the invites today...so now i just need to glue the pocket up and print all the inserts. Which doesn't sound like a lot....but it WILL be!! I need to try and find time to print the inserts before I go home for Christmas...

Sooo my version of a Planning Session is happening Dec 24- January 5 (and I think a Bridal shower thrown into that as well) So...I am getting ready and hoping I remember everything i need! I panic too much

We got our Reservation! We didn't get Cinderella's Royal table yet because they aren't releasing tables? Which TOTALLY made me nervous when I first read it. But I have been assured that no one has ADRS for that night. SO yay!

I don't know why...I got the email and got very upset then emailed them and they said that no one can get it. Today is my 180 day mark and I got everything else....I am hoping they email me today and say everything is fine. I am so excited for it and would be very sad if we couldn't get it.

Well your credits transfer over from day to day....so we already know that we aren't going to want to sit for 3 full meals so....it makes sense to us we are on the DXDP. and It is the main thing I wanted....so my DF wasn't going to fight. I was also pushing for the princess breakfast in Epcot...but he got out of that one!

Hey all! So I have some updates and I'm very excited about them. I found a dress for my bridal shower. I really had it in my head that I wanted a winter dress because the wedding is spring..and I was having such a hard time...and it was really annoying me...so yesterday I found it!

I know its a little fancy...but its my party so I can be fancy...and I think i'm going to wear boots to dress it down a bit and black tights.

Last night I also did mock ups of our invites so now I have to do a couple tweaking so that everything falls perfect. I am very happy with the way they are coming out. pictures soon once I fix them.

ALSO we got our first gift on our Disney Registry! I was so excited...it made our day.

then today...I got my necklaces! they beat my expectations! I love them. I am going to have a hard time picking which one.

Finals are next week so once they are done I will just have to think about Christmas and our planning session! Yayay!

Also Cinderella's Royal table STILL isn't available for booking dinner for our week yet..so I have to keep calling and annoying them. siiigh

ALERT: Stress OUT


My future mother-in-law is DRIVING ME OUT OF MY MIND. So the genesis she is...booked a hotel in Manhattan...the wedding is on LONG ISLAND. So she is mad because Luke can't see her like EVERYDAY. which she was very much aware of when this all got planned. clearly we are having a wedding and have lots of guests. so now she wants luke to get ready in Manhattan and then take a cab to long island?! It would be insane to take a cab from manhattan to long island, it would be like $200. It makes NO sense for them to come to the rehearsal dinner then take the train all the way back to Manhattan to come all the way back the next morning...The other option is she wants luke to come out the day after the wedding. again....HUH?! no i'm sorry we just got married and we have a chill out day after the wedding...for U before the honeymoon. so now he is going to go to Manhattan and leave me? They were suppose to get a hotel on long island for 2 days. I don't know which is better because they are both stupid things to do. She is like this is my vacation! no....i'm sorry this is our wedding and you have to understand. She is complaining about the money she is spending. What about the actual wedding do you think that is FREE?



sorry for the rant. I'm just so annoyed!!!!!

Just caught up...congrats on getting the ADR's. I'm really excited to be staying club level now, it sounds so much easier than calling myself to do them. I'm sure once the tables open up you'll be able to get CRT. Usually the dinner isn't as popular and if you are flexible on the day and time it shouldn't be a problem.

love the dress and the little shrug, super cute! I really love the first necklace for your wedding dress! It's so elegant. The second necklace is pretty too but seems a little less dressy to me...it does look very nice with your shower dress, so maybe you could wear it for your rehearsal?

I do see how she would want to spend a lot of time with him since they are coming from England and she probably doesn't get to see him very often, but she also has to understand that she's coming for a wedding and he's really not going to be able to give her his undivided attention all the time. I also don't think he should trek to the city the day after the wedding, can he devote a day to hanging out with her before the wedding? Preferably a day that you will be doing last minute things or manicures with the girls.

I am very excited about staying club level....they do everything for us and it works out great. and there is NEVER phone waiting time. Good to know CRT isn't as busy during dinner. I didn't know that.

I do love the dress! I am sure my mom will say its too fancy... oooh well. My favorite is the first necklace, I bought the second one because my mom was afraid it would be too busy with my dress. So I will see. The girl gave me an extension on the return policy so I can take my time.

I don't know what my FMIL is thinking...she said she had to book it ahead of time and BLAH BLAH. I am going to see if he can see her on the thursday when he flies in...we will see. One day I plan to go to Montauk with my MOH. Friday we are having a joint party (I guess its a bachelor and bachelorette party?) with everyone who is flying in. She just uses this time to come into NY which makes me so mad...I don't want to deal with her whining. she isn't helping us with the wedding...so I feel like she has no say. which might be mean but....We get like one weekend of wedding stuff and then thats it! He said that he could stay with them on the night before the wedding but I don't know where he would get ready if he came in at like 10am because we were expecting him to have a hotel room with his mom!!!

I have to figure this out...its good to know I'm not being unreasonable for not liking this idea..

haha, I know its insane. and she is nagging DF so he is like...oh well I guess I have to?!!? I need to fix this somehow. but he is NOT going into the city alone the day after the wedding. We are going to try and get a 8am flight out on the tuesday to go to WDW so that is bed time EARLY.
and I need to go to the DMV and cash the checks because all our stuff is for NY but we live in Chicago now. She always has to do something that angers me. ALWAYS. I get that she misses him but this is our WEDDING and we are moving back to England in 2 years. so she will see us a lot....and my mom won't be on the other end whining at me.

Yeah I know what you mean with the wow factor. Thats why I had them take one strand off so maybe it wouldn't look busy. can't wait to try it on with my dress!!!

It can be busy during dinner, but it's usually not as busy since only Cindy, Fairy Godmother and mice are there, and it's not like a regular character meal because they only come by for a little. Eating in the castle is so nice though!

I'm so excited, when I had to make ADR's for our last trip I was on the phone with Disney Dining for like three hours , not even exaggerating. That was when they changed their system so there were a lot of problems. I'm so relieved to not go through that for the wedding trip! I'm also thinking of maybe doing an Illuminations Cruise and hoping IPO has better odds of getting it for me.

You're the bride! You can be fancy if you want.

It would be good if he could do that, or on the day you go to Montauk. It'll make her happy and sometimes it's just easier that way, you don't want her sulking all during the wedding. You're not being unreasonable at all, it's amazing how many people forget that a wedding is about the Bride and Groom, not about them!
