Jennifer and Luke's PJ/TR NY/WDW HM 6/6/2010,Wedding photos up! 12/08

Aww, I love the WL! That was where we stayed our first trip together and it was really great, I think you'll love it! I've also heard great things about their club level.

Definitely! Even thought it's only a few months it'll be good to know if you liked it or not. I'm a huge animal fan so I think it will be fun.

Yay, can't wait to see pics over the weekend. I hate those busy weeks that interfere with wedding stuff!

Oh good I'm glad to hear good things about the WL. I have heard a lot of good but then some bad so it makes me super nervous! hehe

Yeah...school will do that....I have finals soon so that leaves no time for wedding fun :sad2: But I still find time to obsess a bit :rotfl:

I think I have to go with the majority and say that I do like the first one, even with the three strands, but I think the two strands will look nice too. The third one is pretty, but I don't think it is big enough to go with your dress, but it is a pretty piece, maybe for the honeymoon :goodvibes

Congrats on club level! That's awesome. I've seen beautiful pictures of WL, it looks nice, I'll have to check it out in Jan and give you a report. I look forward to seeing the finished invites!

Well I am glad everyone thinks the same! I plan on ordering them soon once I get paid! Oh please do report and tell me about it. I am very excited.

Hey so I just wanted to post the BM necklaces I was thinking...tell me which you like best.

and then this would be the color...I was thinking that I would do them blue....the dresses will be pale yellow. Tell me what you think

Whoa! They are big necklaces! :lmao:

I like the second one, in the blue. Would be very pretty! Roughly how big are they? They should look really pretty with the yellow dress.

Yeah i was copying them from etsy...don't know why they were so big. My necklaces were from etsy too! they are all better now! The second is about an inch and the first is 1 1/4" long and 1" wide

Okay so I just have an opinion question for your ladies.....I found out from the Wilderness Lodge that we have to pay ahead of time for about half of the stuff we had planned... we haven't had my bridal shower yet and people haven't started using our registry yet! so we don't have much spare money right now. So....I was recommended to get the Platinum dining plan because it includes all of the tours we want and we wouldn't have to pay for them....okay so now here is the part where I don't know if I am taking advantage...I asked the WL lady if we booked at platinum packages and then couldn't afford it (we would NEVER actually want this package) would I loose all of my reservations that I booked? and she said no, we would just have to pay for the things that required it at the time we canceled it...Is it really mean if we change to a platinum package just to save our reservation...knowing that we will change it back? :confused3 It would save me a lot of stress hahaha

I like the first necklace best. :thumbsup2

Okay onto the package thing. I think it's fine. You are actually planning on doing all of these tours, it's just the payment of them that you're putting off. It would be different if you were booking them all and then deciding later which ones you really wanted because then other people that really wanted to do them would be missing out. Like when people make tons of back-up ADR's knowing they will not show up for most of them.

So don't stress. :)

Thanks hun! Haha...I am a good person at stressing! I just didn't want to be a jerk but...I also don't have the money right now and I'm afraid if we wait things will get super booked up.

Yay!!! Updates! I love when I actually have things to update. First are my invite inserts! I hope you like them. The only thing I haven't finished is the accommodations but that's because we haven't booked them yet! Also I plan on making a map when i find out where the accommodations are. Please let me know what you think.

June 16- Wildlife Discovery Excursion, Yak and Yeti, Jiko, DTD
June 17-Cape May Buffet, MGM, California Grill
June 18- Keys to the Kingdom!!!! then we fly home..:sad2:

So what do you think? Cape May and Yak and Yeti were....random choices hhaha. Anyone eaten there before?

I love the inserts for the invites, especially all the graphics! They look awesome, can't wait to see them all printed. I didn't realize your wedding was at the Swan Club, they have such pretty gardens there so I'm sure you'll get some great bridal portraits!

The itinerary looks great, good call on taking it easy arrival day and having a meal at your resort. It's so nice to eat dinner and just walk back to your room. Looks like you have some great activities in there too!

I've never been to Cape May but I've heard the breakfast is really good. I have been to Yak and Yeti and we weren't crazy about it, but there aren't many other options at AK. The food was good, we just had not very good service. Our waiter was condescending and we both got sorbet for dessert and it took forever, when we finally got them DF's was half melted. Now I understand they probably forgot one and by the time they realized the other melted...but then why deliver a melted one? It's not like it would take long to scoop out some more. This was back when it first opened, and hopefully they have worked out the kinks. The fried green beans were amazing, and I would give it another chance down the line, so I'm sure you guys will be fine eating there. It is a nice spot though since it's air conditioned and it was nice and chilly in there.

Another option would be to do Tusker House lunch (not sure if that food appeals to you) and they have special seating for the Nemo show which would be great. Otherwise you need to get in line at least an hour beforehand for that show, at least that's what the line was like last June.

Are you doing the DxDP? I found when we do DxDP if I have an occasional meal that's not so great (never really had a bad meal at Disney) it doesn't even bother me because it's included in the plan.

Wow...I totally missed that you live on Long Island!!! I haven't been back in so long! I will be back for my version of a planning session later this month. I am very excited about the Swan Club...we were going to do the Thatched Cottage...but they were jeeeerks soo then we did Swan Club and i'm so glad we did they are super nice. The Gardens were the top reason we picked the place. Our photos are the most important thing to me so I wanted as much choices as possible!
I'm glad you like our inserts! I finished them tonight and couldn't wait to put them up!

I don't think I could deal with a full day of stuff the day we arrive..we were going to go to Epcot after but we found out we can only get a 10 day pass....so we can just chill....which is better because we have a full day of MK the next day and I need to be ready! haha I do wish we had more pool time...but DF isn't too into that idea.....he says we aren't going there to lay by the pool....I will have to work my magic or something :wizard:

Oh I am glad you heard good things about Cape May...I hadn't heard anything so it was a shot in the dark! That sucks you had a bad experience at Yak and Yeti...we wanted to try somewhere new and that seemed like the only place! We are doing a Tusker Breakfast another day....I hope it is good. When we saw the Nemo show in December of last year we went to the last show and it was really easy to get it...but it might have been because its really dead when we went :rotfl:

We are doing the DXDP (all though right now we have a platinum so we can make reservations....:rolleyes1) so yea...I will totally not feel as bad if we don't like the food. Plus we wouldn't choose some of the expensive places if we weren't on the plan. DF says he plans on ordering the most expensive meal everytime :rotfl:

lol, I knew you were from NY but didn't realize it was LI either. Then I was reading the invite and I was like, oh there's another Swan Club, lol, I'm really dense sometimes, then I read more and realized it was the same one.

The thatched cottage always looks pretty in ads, I've never seen it, but if they were jerks, you're much better off going someplace where the people are nice and you'll still have awesome photos since their gardens are so pretty there. I think the only time I was ever there was in winter and it was still really pretty so in the summer it should be gorgeous!

We always plan to have a lot of pool time, but we're not really pool people I guess, so we really only do about 1 day of that. You can always take afternoon breaks and go in the pool for a little. We usually take breaks since it gets so hot and crowded in the middle of the day, although DF usually wants to nap:rolleyes:, he's not used to getting up so early all the time.

We liked the food at Yak & Yeti, inside the restaurant is nice and there's the nice A/C factor, also really important. You can get a bad server anywhere really.

We love the DxDP, it's so fun!

Well when I first read your comment...I was about to explain that its not at Disney but LI and then I realized where you were from.

I am very excited for pictures in the gardens!

I love the pool and I want a chance to actually relax...we will see...I doubt it will happen. I will push for midday breaks especially if we are at MK because we are so close!

Well as long as the food is good at Yak and Yeti then we can deal with annoying servers

It can be pretty hot in June, you may not need to push too hard. ;)

The food was good...well the duck wasn't so great, it was dry so I'd get something else next time, but the rice was tasty and DF liked his meal, I think he got some type of beef. The fried green beans are soo tasty! I'd go back just for those!

I am praying we luck out and it won't be toooooo hot. I wanted the wedding in May and DF shot that down but I am afraid of how hot it will be. I don't want to look sweaty in all pictures on our honeymoon :rotfl:

I'm pretty sure the duck was what DF wanted to get..which is a bit disappointing. Oh well!

I did a bit of printing today just for a test. let me know what you think.

I tried it on the blue...I still think we will have ever, yellow and blue....not sure yet. Also I wasn't sure how far I needed the swirls to be down...so I have to scoot them down a bit.

Thats all for now

The invitations look great! you did a good job. you have great ADRS and plans for your hm. you will have so much fun!!! i still love ohana's breakfast, its my favorite and fun characters. it's amazing how we have been to disney so many times and how many restaurants we have not tried! might have to change that this time. :)
