What is a "Thank you code" from JCP? I thought they were done with coupons? But I'll be ordering some stuff on line and see that option. After being a customer since college, (Forever ago, haha) wondering why I have never heard of that?:confused3

TIA

Soo.... anyone know?

Are there any discounts available at JCP now?

My JCP online wish list is getting longer and longer :) I would love to find a discount somewhere.

Help, please!!! TIA

Unfortunately they no longer are doing coupons/discounts. Unless something is on their monthly sale or clearance, then that's the lowest price available. I'm not sure what the thank you code is, i've not seen that on any coupon sites.

I was surprised to see it too, with their ad campaign of NO coupons!

But theres a place to put a *Thank You code* on their online check-out page!!??? :confused3

Anyone know?? I want one!

:rolleyes1

I'm just guessing here, but we got new cards late last year. The new cards stated that we would get mailed some sort of "reward" after so much money is spent. That may be where you would put the "thank you" for shopping reward?

I do NOT like the JCP pricing policy. I think JCP is going to realize that consumers LIKE sales and coupons and they really draw people into the store. I give it a year before they go back to coupons again.

I finally just called their 800 number. :rolleyes1

The thank you code is for their *associates*. The woman I spoke to was surprised it showed up on my site since I don't work there.
:confused3

I was hoping she'd give me a code, but no surprise, she did not.

:lmao:

Type in JCPSHIP and you get free shipping - googled this and that's what came up - it works.

No coupons or sales, huh? I think they should go back to sales too!

I think they already ave realized this. Sales are way down and the CEO that put this in place resigned. I expect to see sales, coupons etc in the near future.

The new policy has save me lots of money!!! Why.....because i nolonger shop there-lol! I used to shop all the time with the coupons. I just recieved a $15 JCp money coupon. I went the other day but they are renovating and the store was a mess. There wasnt anything that stood out so i still have my $15. I'll be sure to use it on something.

If they brought coupons back I'd probably start shopping there again, especially for holidays and Bdays

I hadn't been real impressed with JCP since the change. It seems to me that anything I would look at for dd or me was higher priced than things used to be.

I went in a couple weeks ago since ds was in dire need of shorts. I found a couple pairs for a good deal and noticed some other good deals in the men's section. DH mentioned that he needed shorts so he and I went shopping last weekend. We bought 3 pairs of nice shorts for $14 each, tons of nice quality plain tshirts for $5 each and a nice polo shirt for $9.

Women's clothes = not so good

Men's clothes = great deals

I hope I start finding better prices on women's stuff or I won't be spending nearly as much there.

I have to agree with one of the previous posters. Then boys and mens pricing have been better now at JCP than stuff for myself and DD's. :scared1: I thought I was the only person who noticed this. I actually walk out of this store with more pieces for the men in my life when I go shopping for clothing. :thumbsup2

I haven't bought anything there either, since they went with their new pricing. Granted, I do most of my shopping before the Christmas holidays, but for the things I needed for spring and summer, I went to Kohls this year.

But, now, I'm extremely unhappy with their new return policy with kohls cash, so I'm hoping that Penneys will go back to their old way of doing things. As far as Kohls goes, I'm so fed up with them, I doubt that I'll be doing business there any more.
