Jayden's Wish trip

Finally made it over to your PTR- so glad I did! Your boys are GORGEOUS!!! Super cute!

Amazing that you knew about Jayden's CHD prior to birth, I agree that is a blessing. Unfortunately, we didn't know about Grace's until after birth, and we had limited input on her Original surgical plan. That being said, Grace beat every odd, so in a way, glad it happened exactly as it did!

Does Jayden have any arrhythmia issues?

I am SO thankful to have had time to prepare ! Although, even though we were prepared it was all up to Jayden once he was born. I guess that was my biggest fear .. what was his condition going to be once he was on the outside and thankfully he did good. Although he had 2 large holes and had to have surgery sooner than I had expected .. but as you said .. I'm glad with how it all worked out. We still have some unanswered questions regarding some of his other health issues .. but will hopefully get some answers soon !
But thankfully NO arrhythmia issue !!

Finally got on over to your TR to check it out. OMG! your boys are sooooo cute. Even as little babies in the hospital they were photogenic!

The wish grantors came today and it all went really well ! Jayden had a rough day spent at U-Mass hospital all day but knowing he was visiting with the wish grantors today helped him be brave and get through the testing and a blood draw.
We were running so late and at one point thought we weren't going to make it home by 6:00 to meet with them .. but the traffic wasn't bad (surprising for 5pm ) but once we hit the highway we were good.
They showed up with colorful gift bags fr each boy and inside was some of their favorite things .. Legos !! Star Wars ones and they were SO excited.
The grantors were both SO nice and we talked with them for almost 2 hours.
Jayden told them he really loved the Harry Potter series and would really love to go to Harry Potter World in Universal Studios and that he also loved Disney stuff .. so they said "well that's an easy one !". So I think were good. As long as he stays healthy and stable.
Now we just have to wait for the approval.
The paperwork was never-ending !! But all worth it.

Those are great legos! My son loves Star Wars Legos. Did you know that Legoland has opened in Florida? It's in Winter Haven where Cypress Gardens use to be. We've gone there twice and my son was in heaven! It's almost an hour away from Disney. The park is open from 10 to 5 daily.

I was very impressed with how they handle special needs there!

Yes they have !

At the Dr's the other day they measured 47" (without shoes) which worries me though because you need to be 48" to ride Harry Potter ride at Universal. I'm hoping with shoes they'll make it on ... or Jayden is going to be heartbroken !

Hi !! Glad you found us.

Yes .. we have been to WDW before .. but never US. I'm such a Disney lover, I didn't really have the desire to go there .. but when TWWOHP opened up over there .. I knew a visit there would be inevitable some day. Jayden has been excited about it since he first heard it was being built. Even though he's a huge Disney fan as well (he told the Wish grantor he loved Disney World, but wanted to see Harry Potter World too) and the Wish grantor told him that if he gets one he'll get the other .. so now he is SUPER excited knowing he will get to go back to WDW as well as see Harry Potter World. It's a dream come true for him !!
We picked either March, April or May ... if not by May then we'll have to wait until it cools down in the fall .. Jayden can't take the extreme heat.
I've heard such wonderful things about GKTW .. I'd be so honored to stay there !

Hopefully they will be over 48 by then. I had that this summer with rides at the local amusement parks, some my girls could get on with no problem for 48 inches, other they could not. Luckily it was all rides that if they didn't make it, DH or I had to go on with them, otherwise they could go on themselves.

They were like 47.6 without shoes, so I think they'll make it with shoes on.
I have this horrible feeling that they'll be just under though .. ugh .. I hope not !!
